Very good starting point to go to col d Aubisque. 
The camping place is very nice and clean. It is obvious that the owner look after it very well, and have an eye for the detail. 
Guest can order their bread the evening before (until 7pm). 
It has a pool, which if one travels with family is very nice.
The bistro at the camp site offers nice burgers, and regional dishes. 


Very nice camping 

We love this site. It is well designed so that any rain drains away really quickly and doesn't leave the ground muddy. The pitches are laid out really thoughtfully to give each one privacy and most pitches have trees for shade and hanging clotheslines.

The campsite owners were really approachable and helpful. Upon arrival we were given a sheet listing walks in the local area including trips to two lakes that we could swim in. We visited both lakes which were beautiful and a fantastic way to cool off in the heat.

The table near the cafe is a beautiful place to sit in the warm evenings with a view over the village and the mountains. We could hear folk music drifting up from the bar at the bottom of the hill and it felt quite magical.

I had a really bad migraine whilst I was there and asked the campsite owner where I might be able to buy some painkillers. He found me a tablet from his first aid box and even demonstrated to my husband how he might help by massaging my temples!!

The children loved the games room with table football, free wifi and charging points for some time away from us.

Perfectly situated for cycling the Tourmalet, walking in the Pyrenees and wild swimming. We loved it here.

Really lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Immaculate facilities and well designed site.

We initially booked for ten days but the campsite was so beautiful, and the staff so friendly and helpful, we ended up staying for over two weeks. The pitches are huge and we were not charged extra for our gazebo or additional small tent. The shower block is very clean and there are clothes washing facilities on site. The restaurant served excellent food with outstanding panoramic views and the prices are very reasonable. Most people were there for cycling (like us) or walking and the atmosphere is very friendly and congenial. We will definitely be back.

The best campsite I’ve ever stayed in

We stayed in one of the self catering chalets on this site and it was absolutely perfect. Early season so everything very quite but the chalet, location and site all score 100% from us. Most of the passes were open and the weather was superb as well. Tremendous and would certainly return given half a chance. 

Absolutely Fabulous 

Booked to stay for a week, stayed for 2 weeks! Very good base for cycling the Aubisque, Tourmalet and Hautacam, campsite owner supplied us with information about lots of other local routes too. Showers, toilets, wash up and laundry areas all very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The camping places are very pleasant and have bushes etc for screening. The shop/ bar is well stocked and the chap running the shop is friendly. The pool area is very good, and again well maintained and very clean. The campsite owner is very helpful and understanding. Would definitely recommend a stay here, and will return in the future!

Excellent!

This is a very well run and spotless site with friendly and helpful staff.
The pitches are laid out in a random sort of way which adds to its appeal. We were shown to our pitch and plugged in. British travellers will need a 2 pin connection, I am very pleased I borrowed one from a friend before we set off. There is water on each pitch and a drain for waste water which makes life so much easier. 
Lots of Dutch and French tourists plus a handful of Brits and everyone, whilst we were there, observed the 23:00 silence that is requested.
The pool is clean and well maintained and the shops has a huge bread order in the morning but you need to be quick to get the chocolate croissants!
We used The small alfresco restaurant twice and had very nice locally produced burgers. we were however very disappointed with their Tapas evening as the portion sizes were extremely small. One item means just that which is not my general experience with Tapas. So we paid over 30 Euros for something that represented just a modest starter. However a very small issue in the great scheme of things.

Excellent site in beautiful location.

We stayed here for just over 2 weeks this summer. It is family owned and family run, and they do it brilliantly.  There are large pitches, and all neat and clean.  The facilities are excellent, always clean. They have a small shop and lots of helpful literature on the local area.  This is one of the best sites I have stayed on in France.
In addition the area is beautiful with lovely views from the site.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

A SUPERB SITE

From the list of campings in the Argelès-Gazost and Luz Saint-Sauveur region eventually we selected this one. Very nice and quiet camping situated at an artificial lake and surrounded by breathtaking views on the Pyrenees ! Very tidy/clean accomodations (free hot-water showers) , large pitches  (we stayed on #60), very friendly owners/staff whom are always helpful with any sort of question  (I needed a bike repair shop and was directed to the most helpful technician  !). Little snackbar /shop with lovely terrace  (If you care for a drink or ice cream or dinner) - they serve fresh pizza's and small snacks  (pasta) and desserts. Bread/breakfast service. 2 swimming pools. Free Wi-Fi. We"ll leave in 2 days - wist we could stay for another week. We certainly will return here - one of the best camping sites I've visited.
