What can I say the place left me speechless ( which is not easily done ) the accommodation was breathtaking. It is easy to find with ample parking, the room was spotless and you cannot believe that a simple hole in the mountain can offer such a luxurious room. The owners are friendly and cannot do enough for you and their breakfast was lovely.  I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for accommodation in this area :) .

Amazing

We stayed there for one night only, but we really enjoyed the place. The room was big and confortable and very clean. Outside the room it had  a patio table with 4 chairs very comfortable to enjoy the garden. We had a wonderful breakfast (included) with home made jams and yogurt, good coffee and great conversation with the host. It made us feel right at home. Located about 8 or 10  blocks from the town.

Veery good place in a great location .

We stayed here for five nights as something out of the ordinary and were pleased with our choice.  The owners have gone to a lot of trouble to make the rooms welcoming, with good results.  Even though it's a B&B, each room has a little kitchenette complete with fridge making it easy to store your picnic stuff, or do an ad-hoc meal in the evening.  The rooms face south and each has outside seating, so you can sit and eat and watch the sun go down.

We were there in the spring, so found ourselves wanting to go inside as soon as the heat of the sun went, but I can see that in the summer the rooms would provide a welcome relief from the heat, and you'd probably move outside as the evening cooled.  Within the rooms the temperature stays fairly constant, but there is a heater so you can boost the air temperature if you want.

I was slightly concerned in advance about the cave being damp, but having experienced it it's fine.  The humidity is slightly higher than you'd experience in a normal hotel room, but perfectly comfortable.  Towels are changed daily to ensure they're properly dry.

Our bed was immense and very comfortable.  We always travel with our own pillows because hotel ones are often unsatisfactory, but we had no need to unpack them here.

Breakfast is taken in the top of a nearby building and consisted of bread, pastries, home-made jams, goat's cheese, honey, orange juice, yogurt, compote and your choice of hot drink.  I was recommended goat's cheese and honey as a combination, and it's good.

Our hosts were full of helpful suggestions on what to see and where to eat.  The establishment is in easy walking distance of the centre of town, so it's easy to have an evening meal in a restaurant, then stagger home without having to drive.

Altogether a very satisfying and restful break.

A most comfortable and relaxing stay

We arrived in this wonderful little town, the owner was very welcoming and showed us straight to the last available room (without booking in advance). Beautiful gardens, a semi-private space - immaculately clean. The main street is nearby, within walking distance, with great little places to eat and drink. We were recommended Les Grottes by the owner, fantastic service and food!

After a 5 hour drive...

Why stay in a cave when you can stay in yet another hotel? For the experience! The owners have done a terrific job creating three rooms, complete with kitchen and bath, in the hillside of their property. Our room, La Chambre Etoile, was tastefully done - a great combo of rough walls with an ancient oven and bright modern furniture. The small kitchen had enough to get by but there are plenty of decent restaurants in town. The breakfast room was a gem with plenty of tasty items to eat. Although the lack of privacy in the bathroom (no door and hole in wall to sleeping area) may bother some it was fine for us. What was an issue was water in the bathroom. Since the shower has no walls, the water got everywhere when I lost control of the hand-held shower head. The floor doesn't slope to the drain and it was impossible to get the water head in the right direction. I wish there had been a squeegee there to help with the problem. The water was still on the floor when I used the bathroom in the middle of the night. This may be an ongoing issue with this room since the room did smell a little musty. It's a shame that this was an issue since the overall feel of the place is comfortable and unique. Perhaps the other rooms don't have this problem. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the outside area is delightful. I hope they solve the water issue. Or at least get a squeegee.
