Certainly very good value . Accommodation is basic but adequate . Bed is fine but you have to make it up yourself ( we had been warned ) . It was very hot while we were there ; there is no air conditioning and the only way to keep cool is to keep the outside doors open .( no windows that can open ) . Rather surprising that you had to buy the washing up equipment ! Lighting at night in the grounds is rather sparse . The most amazing feature was the inspection before you left the accommodation ; however we were not subjected to this and we must have left everything in order as we haven't been contacted since our return . It is about a ten minute walk to the town but not too arduous and if you need on the spot refreshment the Hotel Majestic in the grounds of which the apartments are provides meals of all sorts .

Fine but with some reservations

I'm not writing a long review as the place doesn't deserve my time. We arrived thinking we had paid for accommodation as per the picture of the bedroom on the ad. See our picture for the ACTUAL room. We stayed overnight and were told we had to make up our own bed and either pay 5euro pp or use our own sheets and towels. We are travelling from overseas so this was an extra expense. The girl at the front counter was clearly used to unhappy customers and said that had we 'scrolled down' to the bottom of the booking page we would have read that we needed to hire sheets and make our own bed. To be honest, we should have looked, but as the room wasn't cheap I imagined that the bed would already be made (at least!) Wifi is advertised as available but you need to sit in the lobby of the hotel at the front of the property - about 80m from our apartment. The room was definitely too expensive for no internet in the building, the sheet/towel hire and making up the bed. Although the town is gorgeous, just stay somewhere else.

Worst place we stayed in France, Spain and Portugal!

The price of this apartment in May was such good value I immediately began to look for the snags. So we'll start with that. Firstly the apartments do look like student accommodation. Secondly the outside grounds are very poorly maintained. Thirdly the rules for cleaning etc. make you feel you will get something wrong. That said.....I would definitely stay here again. The guy on reception was excellent (Thibaut???). The apartments are very clean inside and comfortable. No parking problems and 5-10 minute walk from town. In the end £35 a night is difficult to beat. Admittedly the current exchange rate makes anything costed in euros good value.

Great value

We are a total of 5 staying there for 3D2N and this apartment that we had is very clean with a good balcony view! Although the apartment is small, but it is very cosy to stay over. It is very near to the most attraction places, walking distance is about 5 minutes or less. If there's a chance to return to Luchon, I will choose this apartment again! Btw, wifi is located next to the reception area with very fast speed!

Feels at home

Nice clean no fuss appartments, extremely helpful staff. We stayed for one night, and really appreciated our 2-personed appartment. We ordered a takeaway locally after a long day's hiking, and ate it in the appartment, which had everything you needed including a microwave to heat up the food. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a bath (perfect to soothe aching muscles) the parking just outside. It was nice and quiet, I would definitely come back.
