We spent a night there with our 9-month-old as a stopover during a long trip south, and I wish we had been able to stay longer as it was such a lovely, relaxing, welcoming place. 
Marie is the perfect hostess, she was kind and cheerful and made us feel right at home. We were lucky enough that the weather was great and we could have breakfast outside on the little patio in the garden. The breakfast itself was just what we one needs, handmade confitures and jams, baguette, croissants, egg, cereals..and a warm smile! Definitely recommended for a longer stay, to go for walks/bike tours/yoga (next door!) and for a general restful holiday!

Marie is a great host and always available to provide help and info.
The 'ferme' is magnificent, full of historic details... and luxury salons.

Great breakfast on the terrace, some tennis and swimming (on the property).

Close to the great villages of the Alsace, lots of great restaurants nearby.

Great hideway...

The perfect hideaway in the Vosges

We struck a very rainy period in early to mid June 2016 and 2 nights at La Ferme de Marion was just what we needed. We had the huge chambre en bois on the ground floor which was cosiness personified, and what bliss to have a bathtub to soak in! We had had a very busy, but fascinating time on the way up from Colmar, enjoying the Alsace Wine Route, visiting le Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg, the heart-rending Concentration Camp of Natzwiller/le Struthof and the Schirmeck Memorial, and just wanted to relax. Marie and Yalon and their 2 delightful daughters gave us such a warm welcome, and invited us to store our picnic supper provisions in the fridge in the kitchen and use plates, glasses  and cutlery.
Breakfast the next morning was a veritable feast of delicious home-made yoghurt and jams, cheese, ham, croissants and a variety of bread plus lashings of coffee served at the table upstairs (where we had had our picnic the night before) with a view of the garden and the horses. Marie and Yalon joined us and advised us on what there was to see in the area, but we didn't want to go anywhere by car, so Yalon's offer of a map with walking trails, including the one to the WWI battle site of La Fontenelle was perfect. We were fortunate in that the rain held off for us, so on returning "home", we chilled with books in one of the many cosy lounges.
All in all a wonderful stay (although too short!) in a beautiful home in a charming hamlet.

A Cocoon of Comfort

I still can’t believe that such a wonderful B&B even exists. La Ferme de Marion exceeds all expectations. This is by far the most beautiful and interesting house I have ever been to. There is so much attention to detail and good taste in decoration in each and every corner. The distribution of the house is completely atypical, with lots of different sitting rooms and small areas for clients to use; fountains inside, fireplaces and tile stoves. It absolutely invites to relax. Our room (à baldaquin) was on the upper floor. It is huge and offers plenty of room for storing clothes. Bathroom has a bathtub and water comes with pressure. This room gets heated with the tile stove from downstairs, which gets fueled with wood. It is very quiet even if facing the road (there is almost no traffic during the day, and none at night) and bed is very comfortable. We profited big time from the fireplace in the big common sitting room on the upper part of the other side of the house.  An absolute gift.
Marie and her husband are very welcoming, making you feel at home. They keep the facilities immaculate and they make sure you have everything what you need. Breakfast is served in the big common dining room, which consists of different types of breads, home-made jams (some of them really original), local cheeses, croissants, fresh coffee and other beverages, home-made yogurt, fruits… A feast. They are so nice to take the time to sit at the table with guests and engage and vivid and joyful conversation and give tips on things to do on the area.
I still dream of this B&B. Why did I stay only 1 night? I can’t wait to go back…

Magic house with charm offering best of services and relaxation

Visited on the way back to the UK from Italy.  Sadly we only stopped one night at this absolutely charming Chambres d'hotes.  Marion and her partner were absolutely wonderful hosts and joined us at an absolutely fabulous breakfast on the terrace on a beautiful sunny morning.  The rooms were beautiful and slightly quirky (please don't let this put you off - they are fantastically done).  The whole establishment is open to guests and is huge with loads of space and beautifully furnished.  Sadly we only stopped for one night because there is loads to see in the a very beautiful corner of France.
