This is such an amazing place to stay and relax. Such a peaceful and calm surrounding, quite the contrary for a week -end at the Le Mans Circuit.
Dear Jane, you, Pixie and your wonderful estate made our vacation so wonderful and special. The pool and your delicious breakfast.....amazing !

We stayed at La Gaudiniere for one night en-route to the ferry at Le Havre.  The house was absolutely charming, the grounds idyllic and the stay was extremely pleasant.  The rooms had everything we needed, even tea and coffee making facilities, which is very rare in France.  Jane was a lovely hostess, she made us very welcome and we felt totally at home.  Breakfast was the usual continental but we ate on the terrace, having local jams and preserves which was lovely.  Would definitely book again for a one or two nights stay at the end of our holiday.  Exceptional and worth recommending.

When we arrived Jane made the four of us very welcome, we were there for the 24hr race at Le-Man. It is a wonderful location, with the added bonus of Jane having a pool there, we all had a great relaxing time & have booked for next year.

Our one night stay exceeded all expectations. Jane was a most welcoming host and our accommodation could not be faulted. The house and settings are idyllic, and the breakfast was superb in every respect.  It would be a peaceful and comfortable place to stay for a few days; we may be back for that longer stay!
Finding its location was a little difficult.  Although I had the coordinates, my sat-nav had no roads at all in its mapping of this area. The directions provided by Jane work if arriving along the La Fleche to Bauge road, but not from other directions!  A sketch map would have been useful, but Jane gave us directions by phone from the village centre.

A home away from home

Absolutely Charming

Comfortable, peaceful, charming

Jane made it a brilliant week-end.

We recently spent a couple of nights in La Gaudiniere, located in the countryside, about 15mn from La Fleche where we were attending a reunion. The house is very charming and well decorated, with 3 rooms, 2 on the upper floor. Bedrooms and attending bathrooms are of a good size and well furnished. 
It was very hot when we visited and sleeping was a challenge.
There is an outdoor pool next to the house.
I do not rate this place highly for the following reasons:
. the owner asks the clients to vacate the place between 11am and 4pm because she has "things to do". She does not want to give them a key. Not very convenient if you need to take a nap or want to enjoy the pool, or anything you might do in any ordinary hotel.
. breakfast is very basic
. the owner could use some client service training
. Overall, not good value relative to alternatives
