Our stay of 3 nights was absolutely perfect, a beautiful parenthesis in time... This is the 4th time we go there and never disappointed. Thank you Françoise and Patrice and see you soon!

It's the perfect guest room.

The rustic room, clean, calm and comfortable, the clean exterior, overlooking the Pyrenees, we were very well advised by Francois and his wife for dinner in the nearby town of Marcias.

Nice welcome, little coffee when we got here

As soon as the reception the tone is given... it's going to be nice A beautiful farmhouse completely renovated The very beautiful room The very beautiful separate bathroom and bathroom A super frame with swimming pool which we didn't enjoy (April....don't discover!!!) Our guests are taking little care of us and it's a pleasure to be with them and to chat around an apéro and a great meal made from home or local products We had the impression of being at friends visiting

The farmhouse of Tecouère is a magical place, a beautiful old farmhouse decorated with taste, by truly adorable guests... an idyllic location in the heart of the countryside with a beautiful 360° view Not to mention the reception and guest table: excellent!!!!!! Don't change anything!

Exceptional Guests

All the modern comfort in an authentic place for this guest room where we spent three idyllic days.A table filled with good products, we drink well, we laugh well. But most of all the meeting with Françoise and Patrice................. interesting and charming.

A perfect day

When I couldn't find any reviews on Tripadvisor about La Ferme de Técouère, I hesitated about making a reservation, but was seduced by the photographs on its website and byFrançoise's replies to my e-mails. Having stayed there for 2 nights, I now hesitate to write a review, as I'd like to keep it a secret!
A beautiful old farmhouse and its adjoining barn, tastefully and painstakingly renovated, with a panoramic view of the majestic Pyrenees, la Ferme belongs to bubbly Françoise, for whom nothing is too much trouble, and her husband, Patrice. They offer 2 charming delightful upstairs rooms, Rose and Anemone, each furnished with antiques, comfy beds, en suite showers and separate loos and views towards the Pyrenees. There is also a gîte catering for 5 people.
The table d'hôte dinners are not to be missed! Françoise and Patrice both thoroughly enjoy cooking and this pleasure is evident in their scrumptious meals. We joined them for an aperitif at 8pm and a variety of delicious nibbles, followed by dinner outside in the barn, at a beautifully set table, complete with flowers from the garden. The magret de canard which we had on the second evening was out of this world - Françoise came and showed us how she laid the duck breasts on a bed of salt in the frying pan prior to cooking them, and while they should be served rare, she checked whether anyone wanted them more towards medium. Veggies were from her garden (wonderful tomatoes!), and then a splendid vacherin followed by coffee finished off this repast. Conversation with our hosts and another French couple flowed as did the wine ... we loved hearing about the purchase and whole restoration process of their home.
Françoise dispensed advice on places of interest and even phoned some brocante dealers in neighbouring villages for me when I expressed an interest in antiques and vide-greniers. She and Patrice invited us to watch the parade down the Champs-Eysees on Bastille Day as well as some of the Tour de France. The pool was a godsend in the heat (35 - 39 degrees centigrade) and it was so special to soak in the cool water and look up at this centuries-old farmhouse with its pale green shutters lovingly and authentically renovated to its former beauty.
Breakfasts too are a culinary feast with fruit, cake (made by Patrice), various breads, preserves, coffee, enough to set you up for the day.
Set in farmland, with total peace and quiet and lovely walks, yet close to pretty villages like Marciac and Tillac, and historic towns like Auch, la Ferme de Técouère is a very special place, run by a couple who really go the extra mile for their guests.
