i cant rate the welcome and accommodation at La Rivierette highly enough. 
From our initial booking through to our departure, our hosts Stuart and Janice were fantastic. Our room was clean light and comfortable as were the rest of the surroundings. The garden is amazing to relax in enjoying a glass of wine or the sun and to play with the resident dog! I hope to see them all again very soon.

Super break at a super location

We had such an enjoyable in this small hidden gem tucked away in Willeman, near Hesdin in the Pays de Calais, region of Northern France. A leisurely 75 Mins from the Tunnel and such a wonderful peaceful place with excellent host and hostess. We stayed in for supper and enjoyed a very well prepared evening meal and pre dinner drinks with the owners, having enjoyed a lovely hours bike ride in the countryside. Much to recommend and very friendly and English Speaking

Very enjoyable stop-over 

Lovely place to stop, very nice hosts and great food, especially the pumpkin soup.  Great value for money, nice location would stop here again.  Dog friendly too.  The room was clean and comfortable with a view of the lovely garden.  The hosts are very friendly and do all that they can to Help make your stay very comfortable

A warm welcome and great food

I found this accommodation via TripAdvisor and following good reviews I booked for one night.
From the booking until I left I couldn't find fault.
The owners (British) emailed with clear instruction on how to find the place. Even suggesting different route to take in more scenery.
On arrival we were greeted by the owners who were friendly and welcoming. Almost like meeting old friends, even though it was our first visit.
Had 2 rooms upstairs for myself and a friend. Rooms were clean and warm.
We shared a bathroom, but being friends that wasn't a problem.
Tea and coffee making facilities were provided.
For an extra 28 Euros each, we were provided with a nice 4 course meal, that included wine, or beer if preferred.
Of to bed for an early start and nice to find nice firm beds, with old fashioned linen sheets.
Shower and bathroom facilities were good, with instant hot water.
A big bonus if I found they like motorcyclists too, so next time it might be a case of leave the car at home and bring the Harley Davidson.

One of those hidden gems

I have stayed here several times travelling between the UK and my home in France. Stuart and Janice are excellent hosts. Dinner is always a delicious treat.  A comfortable bed ensures a good night's sleep.The garden room, while compact,  is excellent if you have dogs - lovely to be able to let them out last thing at night and first thing in  the morning, and to know that your hosts like dogs and are not phased by paw prints. The geese and ducks in the delightful garden pond are remarkably adept at avoiding lively young dogs. The garen is particularly attractive. This stopover and its hosts constitute a little gem.
