Arrived early off the train from Paris and walked to hotel which is nice walk but we were here early.  The gentleman at the desk agreed to hold our luggage until room was ready as check in is only 3:00 PM.  He helped us put our luggage in a room and we spent rest of day in town which is well worth seeing.  He offered us a map of the city and showed us where restaurants were.  There is lots of history and lots of shops and restaurants.  We checked into our room early evening and found it very clean and inviting....not big but large bed(queen)which we requested.  The TV would not work and after changing remote batteries, realized plug was not working so we were ghiven another room, next door, and all was well.  Very courteous man, assume it was the owner but not sure.  It was what we expected for the price of 60 Euros for the night and maybe a little more.

Great value for your money

Hotel de la Residence is tucked away down some narrow side streets, but there are signs for it, it is just off the town centre in a residential area, the town centre is a ten minute walk away. Rooms are compact and pretty basic but clean. Breakfast is typical croissant and tea/coffee. There is parking at the hotel.

Basic Beauvais

Never wrote a review before but decided to because this place is good value for money. Not the Ritz but certainly honest. We were made to feel very welcome and the owner was very friendly. Perfect for a stop off in Beauvais. Cycle friendly, we stored 6 bikes.

Happy Customers!

Stayed for 2 nights, limited free wifi and clean, avoid the breakfast like a plague was quite dear and got a baguette to share and an egg done in the microwave that was still runny. But good base for Paris train takes around an hour and are hourly. It was around 50 euros return for 2.

Good Base

Since we missed our flight at Beuavais-airport, we stayed here for a single night before grabbing the next flight back home. For that purpose the rooms were OK. Rooms smelled a little like chlorine though.  

When we arrived at the hotel, he quoted us a price that was €15 more than what was agreed upon over the phone. Also, the guy charged us €10 for printing two sheets of paper. He knew we needed our boarding passes for our flight back home so he took advantage of the situation. Very dishonest behaviour.
