Maison Bellachone is a beautiful traditional town house.  We had room one which was spacious clean with a huge comfortable bed. The bathroom had a bath and over shower with towels and toiletries provided. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The hosts Craig and Shorani were welcoming and helpful booking us a table at a local restaurant a great recommendation.  I would highly recommend this accommodation. 

The tradition that lives behind the French door.

Such a wonderful place to stay. The house is beautiful with each room having its own distinctive charm. The beds are huge and so comfortable and even though you are very close to the town it is so quiet and peaceful. You are close to some wonderful walks and the local bars and restaurants are excellent. Craig and Shirani  are great hosts and I would definitely recommend staying there.

A wonderful place to stay.

We’ve just stayed here for the long Easter weekend and have had an amazing time. The rooms are spotlessly clean and spacious, the beds are extremely large and comfortable too - the perfect elements for a relaxing stay and peaceful night’s rest. 

We loved the tranquility of this place and Shirani and Craig, were wonderful hosts. 

I thoroughly recommend this place and will be coming back to stay again soon!

A great place to relax and recharge

We stayed at Maison Bellachonne for just one night, whilst travelling to the  south of France - we wished we could have stayed longer!
The house is quite plain from the outside, but step through the door and you are greeted by a property of great character and warmth. The rooms are large and furnished with antique furniture in keeping with the house. However, the beds are big and comfortable and the bathrooms well up to modern standards. We stayed in the gold room, at the back of the house, which was quiet and had a very nice countryside view. Our breakfast was continental style, with a lovely light crème caramel starter. Craig and Shiranee, the English owners of the house could not have been more welcoming. If we are ever in the area again we would certainly want to stay there.

A charming house

Lovely stay in this quaint, charming hotel, with rustic floors, chandeliers and oh so pretty French crockery; it's like stepping in to an olde worlde English House from years ago. As we're looking to buy in France soon, Craig was very helpful in suggesting great places to visit. Highly recommended, we really enjoyed our stay.

Authentic and charming

Warm welcome by Craig the owner. Clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Nice breakfast. Rooms at the back overlooking the countryside have the best views. 
The property is right in the centre of town, so very convenient. The house has loads of character.  Very good for a stopover

This must be our 5th stay and as always we had a fantastic time . The room was immaculate and the breakfast superb the owners are a great couple who go out of there way to make sure your stay is memorable so from kevin and kerry see you in September

Another great stay

Easy to park, a couple of restaurants open in the winter still but even more if you choose a big lunch instead.
The rooms spotless and beds were very comfortable. Lovely breakfast and a great atmosphere!
Hosts very friendly and helpful, particularly when we arrived and offered tea and biscuits!
The only small detail is access to tea and coffee whether in the room or in the beautiful seating area downstairs. It would have been nice to be able to make your own drink particularly as the weather was so cold.
We didn't eat there but spoke to a couple that did and they were impressed!

Great location.

Absolute gem of a B&B. My husband and I were in the area for our first house hunting trip and Shirani and Craig were so helpful to us. Whether it was parting with advice, their experience or just listening to us when we came back from a day out. Also not forgetting Dottie their dog who we both adored. 
The room was lovely, very comfortable and spacious. We loved the original features that were in the room and within the B&B which made the stay even more enjoyable! 
Breakfast was amazing and definitely kept us both going on our days out! 
It is also ideally located within the town centre with free parking right outside the building. It is also a short walk from amenities and some very good restaurants. 
We would both like to thank you for making our stay and trip less daunting. 
Would highly recommend Maison Bellachonne to anyone looking for somewhere to stay within the area. 
We shall be back at some point this year.

Gem of a place and amazing breakfasts 

My wife and I stayed here for just two nights but we have no hesitation In recommending it to anyone wishing to stay in the area.  
It is an old small hotel with plenty of charm and character right in the centre of town with free parking right outside. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. Had no trouble with the wi-fi which worked well. The “continental” breakfast was lovely.
More importantly, we were welcomed by our charming hosts, Craig and Shirani, and their equally welcoming dog Dottie.  But don’t worry if you’re not dog lovers like us, Dottie was most unobtrusive, though my wife and I would not have minded seeing more of her.
Our hosts could not have been more welcoming or helpful. We had to leave extra early this morning and they were kind enough to provide breakfast before the normal time so we could get on our way on time.
Thoroughly recommended and no, we are not related. Just satisfied first time customers.
