We visited La Villa Belle for the first time on our holiday  and what a fantastic experience it was. We were met by Vivienne and Stefan, the owners, who are the most warm and lovely people you could possibly wish to meet. They showed us around their lovely property and then showed us to our room and let us unpack. Then came back with tea and chatted with us, as to how could they help us in any way. Over our few days, they gave us advice as to sites to visit, what was open, when, where to park, where to eat and made reservations for us; they helped in anyway they could. Breakfast was also a delight, with wonderful local products, fresh pastries and their home made preserves; the tea jelly was wonderfully different. We highly recommend a stay here, for the peace, beautiful countryside but most of all, to enjoy the conversation and happiness of Vivienne and Stefan, we’ll be back.

Wonderful hosts with a wonderful house

A  quiet peaceful beautiful location, close to Boulogne and Calais, hosted perfectly by Viviane and Stephane, friendly with nothing too much trouble. Everything we wanted, clean immaculate furnishings, sumptious breakfasts to die for, privacy with separate room entry, easy parking, four poster bed. Plenty close by with Boulogne and Wimereux 15 mins and Eurotunnel 30 mins. And Golf! 


Star Quality: Exceptional Service

Heading home after a lovely holiday in the Dordogne we wanted a comfortable B&B  for our last night in France before a short drive to the Eurotunnel the next day.
We could not have chosen a better stopover.From the moment we arrived at their beautiful home in a delightfully pretty & quiet village Vivianne & Stephane were the perfect hosts.
Our room with private access & patio was ideal, immaculate,comfortable & functional, very  welcome after a long journey.The recommendation from our hosts for an evening meal in nearby Wimereaux was excellent and we enjoyed a lovely dinner overlooking the stunning beach.
Following a delicious continental breakfast we were reluctant to leave the next morning - we would not hesitate to recommend this superb B&B and hope to be able to return in the future.Thank you Vivianne & Stephane, we look forward to seeing you again.

Wonderful hosts at a delightful B&B

I stayed at this wonderful b&b for 4 nights and had a great time! I felt very welcome in this impeccable place. Loved the attention for details, it was spotless clean and the delicious breakfast contained some home made freshly prepared special treat dish every day! Oooooh that luscious riz au lait! All this was accompanied with great advice for restaurants and activities. They gave me space to practice my French and to absolutely enjoy my stay in the region. Very very welcoming people :-) I’ll gladly return!

The warmest home

This is a welcoming, well-appointed, clean and very well run chambre d'hote.

Vivianne and Stephane are perfect hosts - justifiably proud of their establishment, and the work that has gone into it.  They built the house themselves, and the great spread of morning confitures are "faites maison".

Nothing was too much trouble, from checking what kind of restaurant we liked to booking us a table at the best one for dinner, to unobtrusively being around at breakfast to advise, and help translate (we are English, and a Flemish and a French speaking couple were in the other rooms), ensuring "entente cordiale"!

We booked this B&B based on it's excellent reviews. Even though it was not on our route we booked two rooms, one for us and the other for our son and fiancé. It was tucked away behind a quaint church and lovely quiet area. We were arriving late which was no problem for the hosts. Arrived and were greeted with such warmth and friendly chatter. Taken for a tour and it was immaculate. Our room had a 4 poster bed and the other was a comfy bed. Both rooms lead out to a little patio with table and chairs. We had a fabulous sleep and breakfast was a continental with local products. Lovely outlook . It was raining otherwise you can eat outside. Super B&B!!!! 

Stunning!

We've never been treated so well.
From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave nothing is to much trouble for them.
The place is spotless & beautifully furnished, with nice touches wherever you look.
The bedroom was very comfortable & the breakfast was excellent.
Stephane & Viviane are the perfect hosts & we will be back.

Home from home.

Have just spent 2 weeks at La Villa Belle in Belle et Houllefort. Viviane and Stephane are the perfect hosts, making our stay so enjoyable, their attention to detail is second to none.  Breakfast was excellent and of the Continental variety, delicious breads and croissants, homemade jams to die for, local cheese, fresh fruit/fruit salad and yoghurt. The coffee was plentiful as were teas of all varieties. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and they were delighted to practice their English. Our room was more than adequate, the linen and towels changed frequently and cleaned daily to a very high standard. There was ample storage space and the walk in shower and copious hot water brilliant. Tea and Coffee making facilities were provided, the WiFi was constant and there was plenty of parking space. We were able to peacefully enjoy time sitting in the sun on our decking and able to come and go as we pleased using our own door to the outside. The garden is not overlooked and there are 2 rooms downstairs and 2 upstairs - the downstairs rooms have their own seating areas and doors to the outside. There are electric shutters ( the quietest ever heard) which can be used at night so there were no safety concerns. Our only disappointment was the lack of an eating facility in the village but we soon overcame that slight problem and we shall certainly return.

Perfection

La Villa Belle is a beautiful place to stay. Stephane and Viviane make you feel so welcome in their home and you feel like you are visiting friends.  We sat chatting with them after we arrived over a drink and enjoyed their company very much. Our room was stunning and very comfortable and as the weather was great, we were able to enjoy the private terrace where we sat and ate our food with a glass of wine. Breakfast was very good and I loved Viviane's home made apricot jam.  We look forward to a return visit in December.
