The service at this Gite is the best I’ve ever received. The food! The wine tours! The doggies!!! Every part was wonderful! I still can’t believe Edwin managed to find us on our bikes to let us know our next hotel had cancelled and helped us rebook a brand new property! Tres bien! Outstanding! Truly feel like I’ve found a new friend! We will be back x

Home away from home

Very friendly and nice hosts. We were as well surprised by the diner meals. Splendid and tasteful. Room was very neat and more than large enough for us both. Breakfast included, diner needs to be paid, but....... for the price you pay, included wines and beverages......... best choose ever..... 1 small point of critics : garden needs a clean up I think, but this is my personal opinion.

Splendid stay for 4 night to explore the Champagne region

Wonderful welcome, relaxed and very friendly, delicious meal with wine and very comfortable family room.

Perfect spot for overnight stay on way back to Calais or visiting Champagne region.

Great overnight stay on way to Calais

Amazing place located in the middle of Chanpagne area in Bethon. 
The owner (Edwin) is really nice and gentle. He was always willing to help me for all requests that I had. 
He cooked for me a fantastic France dinner that I still have the taste in my mouth. 
Edwin is very knoledble person and he provided a lot of information about the area and where to go for nice Champagne testing. 
The rooms are cleaned and well furnished. I did not have to buy anything during my journey. 
I felt not to be in a B&B but at home with friends. I wish I could stay longer, because I found a perfect environment to relax and to discover a new culture and friends. 
I strongly suggest this B&B to everyone that would like to spend time in this region.

Wonderful stay

I can't rate our stay highly enough. The hospitality, the food and quirky, eclectic mix of buildings when we arrived made this a perfect place to stay.

Edwin made us feel very at home, he was charming, loves what he does and was there when we needed him. I loved the attention to detail in the chalet and the beds were extremely comfortable. Travelling a long way with a nervous dog, we were looking for somewhere relaxed and that's exactly what we found.

I'll definitely return and would definitely recommend Le Chalet Champenois. 

Wonderful hospitality

Absolutely brilliant, if you make arrangements before hand, Edwin will provide a sumptuous dining experience not to be missed, enjoy a delicious breakfast will fresh bread, meat, cheese, croissants with home made jams and preserves, really well worth the deviation to this gem in the countryside.  Edwin can arrange a visit to the local Champagne cave, worth the time......

Brilliant.......

We arrived mid afternoon, and welcomed into the chalet, we where shown round the rooms which where very comfortable with plenty of space and well presented, after a relaxing couple of hours we had a great home cooked meal with champagne and wine and home made cake for dessert, overall a great stay and will recommend to all, we hope to return soon
