Based in a business area there are few eating options to the hotel. Used by coach parties so it may get busy at times. Functional rooms and breakfast was quite pleasant. Odd method to make your own teabags for morning cup of tea, 

Basic business hotel

Overnight stop on coach tour to Switzerland. Lower floor room as requested but strong smell of sewage on corridor outside room but fortunately smell did not permeate into room. Comfortable beds and adequate breakfast.

Adequate for purpose

A lovely hotel and one of the best IBIS we have stayed at. Clean and friendly staff. 
I specifically booked this hotel as it had a CourtePaille restaurant next door. Unfortunately, when we arrived we were told that the restaurant was closed due to a fire the previous week. We therefore had to drive some distance to find a restaurant. The last thing we wanted having driven all day from Nice. 

Pleasant stay

After moving from a hotel we had pre-booked and found disappointing, we came across the Ibis, St Dizier late in the day.  Booked in and were given a basic but clean and well-equipped bedroom and bathroom.  Had a welcome meal in the Court-Paille restaurant,  charolais beef and grilled chicken, with half a litre of wine. All very good.
We would not hesitate to stay at this Ibis again , bearing in mind that there seem to be very few other hotels in this part of France.

Surprisingly good.

No surprise, this is just in line with the brand.  Good sleep quality, quiet, clean, good beds.  Restaurant is the chain "courtepaille" - exceeded expectations for that kind of hotel.  Welcome is friendly, nothing to say.

Very good sleep quality

Stayed here overnight on our way to Lake Garda in Italy.  More than comfortable bed as i just went straight to bed after a long journey from the UK.  Had to wake up at 5am in the morning next day as we had an early start but had a good nights sleep.  Decor in the rooms is a bit tired but the public areas are clean and modern.  Would be happy to stay again.

Overnight stay with National Holidays

The staff were great and very welcoming and friendly. We stayed only 1 night, but the one bedroom worked well for a family (it was perfect a 2 children and 2 adults and very spacious with 2 single beds for the 2 kids and a double bed for adults).

The room was clean, fairly priced (much better value for money than alternatives in town which did not provide safe sleeping arrangements for children).
We didn't eat at the hotel, but went into town. 


Great last minute booking perfect for family 

The hotel is very comfortable and good value for money. The Courtepalle restaurant is very poor. After being seated it took more than ten minutes to place our order and we waited a further thirty five minutes for our food to arrive. The Berger I ordered as very small and the fish my wife ordered was not as good as on previous visits. The staff were working hard but they were not well managed and there were insufficient  staff on duty. Not good for a Saturday evening. The environment is very good but when you have travelled 300 miles you want good food and service. For this reason and this reason only we may not use this location again. This is not the first time we have complained about the food. we have made more than 15 visits to this hotel.

Overnight stay with National Holidays. Check in well organised. Room clean and comfortable. Bar area ok. Restaurant very good, food and service faultless. Breakfast good, lots of choice. Hotel is on retail/industrial estate, 10 minutes walk to McDonalds, supermarket, etc. Ideal hotel for stopover.

Decent hotel

Being honest the hotel is on an industrial estate, not near a town centre. That said, this was purely an overnight stay with National Holidays returning from the French Alps - La Clusaz, within a 5 minute walk is a McDonalds (of course😀), and the large Hypermarket Cora which has a decent cafe.
Room basic but clean with a very comfy bed. Room smelt a little of smoke, but a blast of air opening the window soon sorted that. Bathroom lovely and plenty of hot water. TV on wall, a few English channels but to be honest, had TV on for 5 minutes.
CoffeeTea served at the bar, very reasonable price as was the beer and wine. Very friendly bar staff and receptionist.
Restaurant attached  which as well as a full menu has set meals which are excellent value. House wine, great value. We spent a lovely couple of hours over dinner with friends made on our National Holiday and then a night cap in the bar.
Breakfast, the usual French fare, plenty of pastries, cereal, cheese, meats, fruit, toast, preserves and lovely coffee or tea.
For an overnight stay.... great value. And for what we paid with National Holidays, no complaints here.
