Myself, husband and our 2 children, 6 and 8 stayed with Sylvie on our way down to the Ardeche in August. It was just a quick 1 night stop. We got there late evening and were shown to our room, which was up a flight of outdoor steps around the back. Our room was cozy, but perfect for what we needed. The shower was very powerful!

We had breakfast with Sylvie the next morning in her dining area which was lovely. She was very friendly and engaged well with the children. She also has 6 cats roaming the area which were a hit with our girls! 

The garden was huge and had a swimming pool but it was too late for us to use it, although Sylvie did offer to open it up for us. We would recommend this for a stop over!

Great stop over on the way south through France

Very welcoming and pleasant host. The other half enjoyed the Pool and Breakfast.  Location and accommodation was not for me. To access the room allocated one had to negotiate a path through a very overgrown garden having to "duck" vegetation on route.  The room allocated was up a steep flight of outdoor stairs. When a ground floor room was requested we were advised there wasn't anything available although it appeared we were the only guests!  As the window to the front of the property did not have "black out" blinds or curtains I found sleep impossible as soon as dawn broke as light was streaming through the window. There was also a lot of passing traffic noise. The nearest village had nothing to offer as most of the premises etc were closed so going out to dinner was not an option. Perhaps as it was a Bank Holiday we were just unlucky!.

Not for me.

We stopped at a long stop on the holiday road. We were very well received! The location is top, the house and the room are lovely. The bed is really good quality. We were able to enjoy the garden and the pool. The breakfast is very tasty! Thank you for this good time!

A pleasant step

We've been stopping at Sylvie's house on the way to the holidays for several years now. The reception is always smiling and we feel good in this family home and this beautiful garden with cats.

What a joy!

Great reception from our hostess. Spacious room, bathroom is in keeping with the building. Sublime breakfast. impeccable parking, we'll definitely be back spending two nights this time... to enjoy it more.

On the way to vacation, very nice stop. Very nice hostess, attentive to the well-being of the guests. Charming quiet garden, beautiful swimming pool. Spacious room, quality bunk bed, recent massaged jet shower. Very copious lunch, fresh bread and viennese, good prairie brioche, local specialty. Thank you Sylvie for this welcome, our good memory at the chatrooms.

Arriving several hours late, we were expected with a smile as it was almost midnight. As for the bedroom, it's a real family home room... the lush breakfast and served with great kindness. If you want a cold, impersonal guest room, go your way. If you want to be received at home, good address.

Unexpected and pleasant

We were very welcomed in this guest house not far from the highway exit. The double-bed and single-bed room is convenient for families.

Very good stop on the highway.

We stayed here on our way south. The hospitality was outstanding. We stayed in the Albert suite and its  decor is very traditional French and we loved it. You must have dinner, its a real joy. In essence you eat with the owner (who speaks very good english) and her mother (who speaks no english) in their home. The mother is sharp as a tack and has a fascinating backgroung having lived with her late husband in various French African colonies. The wine and conversation flow with humour. Being their home with home cooking not everything goes to plan (forgetting to caramelize the creme brulle tart) but these add to the experience. Its 15/20 minutes off the motorway but well worth the minor detour. We travelled with our dog. My French is very basic and the wife's nil. We would stay here again without a moments hesitation.
