We have had lunch here on two weekends now recently and it was truly excellent . I had the wonderful trout starter both times which is really different and very fresh and tasty . I had Canette once and the beef the second time both amazing . All our party were blown away by the cooking , especially the soufflé for dessert - superb . The service is pleasant and professional . we had a table inside the first time and outside on the lovely terrace the second time - both good . If you are in Cambo do reserve and treat yourself , well worth the price .

Wonderful food in a stunning setting

I stayed for a week , the hotel is in a very good position but its got a few problems five floors without a lift and the breakfast room is even further down in a basement . I would chose a nicer hotel if I went again . Overall the staff were helpful but its a bit tatty Biarritz is a lovely place.

but not very goodOK

Bargin, no frills stay in the heart of Biarritz.  Nestled between the main drag (Avenue Edouard VII) and the pool on the Grand Plage it puts you where you want to be.  Rooms are dated but more than adequate.  There is a (dance) club on the back (pool side) that could be problematic regarding noise in season.  There is also an access (access only-no re-entry) to beach level near the breakfast area (Biarritz has lots of levels or hills).

Location, Location, Location

Things were stolen from the room! The hotel had a nice location close to the beach - a bit noise though at night and in the morning. Staff was very friendly, but things were stolen from our room, while we were out.

The most positive thing I can say is that this hotel is in a great location - but - because of this, it is right by all that is happening in Biarritz - and the noise at night was unbelievable - it went on till 0500
If I return to Biarritz I would chose a place a but further out so I could get some sleep
The hotel has nice, pleasant staff 
My room was on the top floor - not so good with a heavy suitcase as no lift
The room itself was ok - nice and clean, modern bathroom - but incredibly hot - which meant I had to have the windows open. Even when the noise became too much and I had to close them, the noise still came through
I would not return here
