A little bit of an unorthodox choice, glad we booked the 17.4 for our 2 nights in Blois, it was a tranquil haven at night. 
Check-in didn't go super smooth. We arrived on Sunday evening - our confirmation mail had said something about arriving before 7PM, but this being a school we already had our doubts someone would be there on Sunday. There was an automated check-in available, but it wouldn't accept any of our credit cards... after several failed attempts we dialed the "emergency" number, and were reassured by a friendly lady she'd be there in 5 minutes. 3 minutes later she had arrived and helped us in. Apparently they have known issues with foreign credit cards. She provided us with a key card and showed us to our room. Probably lucky we had to call her, as we would have had a little more difficulty locating our room in the empty school (there are signs, but we were rather tired...) without guidance.
We had chosen a 2 star room, and it was great. Large king sized bed, good mattress and pillows. Flat screen tv and wifi, no minibar. Bathroom had a shower and nice new towels, even some basic toiletries. Everything was spotless - only fault I could find was a small tear in the curtains that prevented us from closing them completely.
As we were literally the only people in the entire building the night was blissfully quiet. This also means there's no reception to ring up when you run into small issues/questions at night - like me failing to get the fan to actually heat rather than cool the room. But there is that emergency number I mentioned previously.
The hotel/school is located outside of town, so we had to take the car to visit Blois but were always able to park right outside the hotel, and once we had the key card entering the building was a cinch. 
After our good night's sleep we did get woken up by the school bell/chime at 8:05 (and then at 8:10 and 9:05 again), so do take that into account if you plan on sleeping in on a school day. 
When we left our room in the morning we ran into one of the students who asked about breakfast. We hadn't filled out the form you were supposed to leave outside the room because we didn't want to take breakfast at all, but at €5 it's very good value. I did ask her about dinner but she wasn't sure whether the school's restaurant was open - it wasn't really well displayed anywhere actually, we spotted some other people looking around the restaurant entrance in the evening but leaving after seeing it was closed. In the end we worked out that they weren't open for dinner during our stay, which was too bad as we would have loved to try it out.
We also asked her about payment but she told us that had to be done in the afternoon or evening - but we had gone out during the day (of course) and there wasn't anyone around when we returned. So the next morning we ran into the same student again and arranged the payment with her on the spot. She was perfectly friendly btw, and came across quite professional.
Overall a great experience staying here, recommended for sure.

Great experience

Although the hotel is in Blois,its quite a way from the centre,restaurants etc,so you will need a car or a taxi if you want a drink! This is actually a training centre for 16 plus age students who want to go into the hotel/catering business. You are greeted by a student on reception.Ours was very imformative,spoke good english and showed us how to get in/out of the hotel entrance.You need a credit card for this,it allows you automatic entrance after 9pm,as the desk is unmanned from this time(there is a contact number if any problems,on site) 
The room itself was just adequately sized,but well enough furnished,good quality materials and absolutely spotless.As was the bathroom. There are only 5 or 6 rooms here,which vary in size,content and price. Ours was 60 euros including breakfast,and was certainly ok for the night,or or weekend.  For breakfast you put your requirements from a choice(normal french breakfast) and leave it out on your doorknob overnight,and the time you want to eat. We asked for breakfast at 07;45,and at exactly that time there was a knock on our door and a young lady staggered in with a tray almost as big as her! The breakfast was basic but good quality,and served in immaculately clean cutlery,cups,etc. 
The rooms are used for training during the day,and are immaculately prepared.
Parking is outside on the road,and safe.
We have not stayed in such a concept before,but it was a joy to be greeted and treated in a perfect fashion,especially with the current *rudeness* of French service staff,which even their president has remarked on!
