Recommended by a friend living in Blonville and by the City Initiative Union, I was not disappointed during this small August weekend, usually very busy. Last minute booking. Very charming Norman frame, a very convenient room, a very reasonable price and a welcome, very friendly. Well, actually, it's not very modern. Flat screen TV, very size, of course. And then???!!! The hotel is average, the room is a few days away, but well cleaned all day... located 3 feet from the sea. What more can I ask for, for a small improvised weekend? The only hiccup: no WiFi in the rooms.

It's a very nice hotel, room 208, second floor.

Old hotel. Very old room, carpeted room with big duties, mattresses with springs not recommended for back pain, pillows that are so thin that they do not exist, yellow duties on the top of the bed, old and unpaired furniture, no internet network, very dirty balconies and not cleaned before our arrival with slices on the edges of the balconies, identical chairs not cleaned no way to take advantage of this. Very accessible toilets, large but small plastic sweater and very dirty it costs 3€ in a large area, very humid bathroom ventilated by the small mouth.Little lunch with excellent will for 9€ (supplied per bathroom) is not a positive point for this room. And I'm not talking about a very negative 150€ reservation.

Room 107

The carpets and upholstery in the rooms (at least in ours) are old but still clean. It all depends on what you are looking for (the prices are still competitive).

Good for one night.

I spent three nights in this hospitable hotel on the Côte Fleurie. Yes, it's a bit old but the room was clean, the bathroom was clean too. We were on the first floor, at the back of the building and, as we slept with the windows open, we weren't too disturbed by the traffic. Free wifi is only available in the living room which, in the end, is not a problem because, after all, when you are on vacation, it seems to me that it's useless to stay glued to your screen. Especially for those of us who are on a professional trip, you just don't wait for the wifi to connect....Little Continental Lunch very late in the day.

Accepting

The hotel is a nice hotel in the centre of the village of Blonville on the sea and has 200 meters of an impeccable beach emergency room perfect maintenance. The hotel is a bit cold but after two nights the staff are available and meet the expectations. The hotel is a bit old...tapestry takes off in the rooms; water hunting (10 times for a paper evacuation). Average breakfast for the price of 9 euros. This hotel is still to keep for its room price of 78 euros with balcony in July.

I'm going to tell you something.

To spend a night on a motorcycle tour is fine even if at this price you expect a better quality. A little dated but nice mansard room. Clean bathroom but with the drain of the sealed sink and an impossible mirror placed behind the toilet. Breakfast retirement style 1970s....for 70 euros a night the fruit juice could also be presented in a jar and not in its tetrapack (although with faucet it is very sad).Small parking and behind the hotel.To close in beauty are not accepted American Express and moreover they asked me for an identity document to check the signature...although mine is a personalized Visa card with mine.

If you can... avoid it!

To finish off our driving holiday in France a small group of us decided to extend our stay by coming to the Normandy area to visit some of the D-day landing sites and to tour the area in general.  The hotel was very pleasant and our bedroom was at the back overlooking their gravelled car park.  I must admit that the six of us felt very guilty for not taking advantage of their breakfast and dining facilities, but funds were limited and their dining room always looked deserted - not a good recommendation..  However we did use their bar facilities and garden and the local beers and house wines were good.  We were staying here the last week in June/first week in July and the hotel and resort it general was pretty quiet.  Billed as a family friendly resort that French families flock to, I would imagine it would be very busy in the school holiday season.
Ideal for families as Blonville has lovely long sandy beaches, but there is very little to do in this seaside town and we tended to gravitate to the adjoining resort of Villers where there were far more activities available, plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars.  The bedroom was fine and the en-suite bathroom adequate, if a bit dated, but we had a comfortable 6 night stay.

A good base for our visit to Normandy

We stayed here during our trip to Normandy, hotel on average, room very large and spacious but very dated, cleaning with some flaws, kind and available staff, hotel brasserie on average.

Nothing special.

Just spent three days there with family(six in all).If you are on the front of the hotel it can be a bit noisy with the main road traffic.If you close the window the room gets hot due to no air conditioning. . The only complaint we had was that the breakfast room was too small and every morning people had to wait some time for a table. There is a balcony with tables but if the weather is poor this cannot be used. The staff said that planning permission for an extended dining room had not been approved by the local council.In view of this I think that an internal extention to the dining room should be considered.The food choice was very good and plentifull with bacon,egg and sausage on the menu.
