A catastrophic stay the lady has the welcome is not at all in her place!!!! she would do better to change jobs the little houses are far from the parking lot some wagons to carry luggage we had in bulk 300 meters to do from our vehicle we were loaned a wagon dirty laundry the lock on the front door of our house not walking we couldn't get inside she managed to open but impossible to seal she told us that the next day between her was frozen we have the floors that had no keys to go to get what we can feed the evening bathroom leaked bathroom bathroom and mastic bathroom furniture under the e the dirty wood we can get a listing of the required holidays we can get a listing of the rates for the holidays with a dog but we got the 300 euros for the dog when we get the money we want to get the money we want to get!!!

It's horrible

The residence is very well situated between Villers on the Sea and Houlgate. Very quiet residence with secure parking. The apartment is very clean and well maintained.

holiday in Normandy

2 nights spent in the family... As soon as the door opened the smell of tobacco... the room was worse ++ Bathroom... broken mirror shower embroidered. Living room spider web. Literia ok. I hope you will read this review, unlike me who didn't and who regrets. The smell of tobacco was the worst of all.. 2 nights... We can't change whether we say full? I could and could book a room on a reservation site... Anyway the outside is no better off without overall maintenance!!, traveler advice go your way, or be ready!

Running away

Very friendly staff, very correct bedding for a click. Well equipped kitchen. Complete accommodation. Ideal location. Like any accommodation of this type we are involved in household cleaning

Highly recommended

The person is super friendly and gives advice, the parking is secure, but it's a shame it's only from the inside. The apartment is very clean and the dishes and microwave are all new. The residence is very quiet.

It's a great stay.

We had a great stay, the apartment was clean and nothing was lacking, we even got some clams to eat our seafood.

Disastrous housing situation: food stuck to the table, broken shower flexible, huge spider web in the bathroom, 3 chairs instead of 4 to eat, dust everywhere, toys found under the couch.

It's catastrophic.

We booked in this residence via a CE for a house of 3 bedrooms/2 bedrooms. When we arrived, we had only one room and we tried to pass the second room with the sofa bed. We were not given a solution given that the residence was complete. No consideration from the receptionist side... The housekeeping was done with such speed and we had to go back. The furniture is in very bad condition. The tables and chairs are very bad condition, the bed is very dirty. We hear the neighbors next door. The bathroom was dirty and in poor condition. We also had so many supplies. As for the children, let's not talk about it! I think the pedestrian in the kitchen and the shelter in the bathroom is not safe.

Especially to run away

We really liked it here when we arrived. The apartment was a good size, it was clean, there were lovely walks in the area, there's a bowling alley within walking distance that we intended to go to, we were happy. Until we encountered a problem.

On our second evening in the apartment, we were watching TV when a little bug came wandering over the back of the sofa. Fearing it may be a bed bug we caught it and started examining underneath the sofa bed where we found a load of eggs and a couple of dead bugs. I suddenly understood what had bitten me. 

I called the out of hours number and the woman said he could move us tomorrow, but tonight we would have to stay in this apartment. I said we couldn't stay there with the bugs so she asked me to call her back in 20 minutes. 20 minutes later she said she still couldn't help until tomorrow so suggested we leave, find somewhere else to stay and email requesting a refund. I called the booking agent instead. The booking agent called me back after a few minutes and said the woman I had spoken to had arranged an apartment for us for that night and then would put us in a new one in the morning. He said she would call us with arrangements. 

After not hearing anything for an hour I called the agent (Interchalet) again and was told by another person that we should go to a hotel for the night and Vacancecole would refund the cost, we would then be given a new apartment in the morning.

In the morning I called the out of hours woman again and she said there was no apartment for us. We should return to the apartment, get our things and leave. I called the agent again and they said that until Vacancecole agreed to return our money, they could not help. They agreed to call me back. 2 hours later I called again and they had not been able to get through to anyone at Vacancecole but said they would call when they heard back. By this time we had to leave the hotel and return to the apartment. 

Another hour passed so I called again. I was told we would be refunded but that they could not find us alternate accommodation. I pointed out that there was plenty on their website in the area, there was even availability in the Vacancecole property. I could have booked it the previous evening, but they do not allow bookings on the day. I was just told to find somewhere else and email asking for a refund.

I have been told I will be refunded for the hotel, apartment and the difference in price between that and where I manged to find at short notice in the area, plus £130 but it does not make up for ruined holiday. 

It's a shame. I would have liked to have stayed there again but I am not willing to take that risk!


Poor at sorting problems

Very medium accommodation. indoor traffic and entrance to the room with an unsuitable wheelchair. Lunch: buffet planned but limited (not complete). Parking is large and good. The surroundings are pleasant. The place is not far from the sea (Villers sur Mer, Houlgate and others).
