After renovation the rooms looking nice and warm. Food in the Restaurant delicious. Perfect presentation, perfect taste. Good selection of Wine and Champagne. Various choice of local cheese. Good breakfast. Very good hospitality.

Nice Place

The hotel is in an idyllic setting well located for touring the area (Saut duDoubs). We had two rooms, one with a balcony. Both were spacious and modern. Wifi worked very well. We thought this would be an opportunity to eat at a Michlin starred restaurant, and so booked a reservation at the restuarant rather than at the Bistro. While well priced, the food was very good but not spectacular (we ate better at non-starred restaurants on this trip). Atmosphere was a little too stuffy (esp. for a restaurant in such a bucolic setting) In retrospect there was greater variety at the Bistro.

very nice hotel somewhat disappointing restaurant

The hotel is located in a quiet, hilly area about 100 km from Geneva. Our fairly up-to-date room (with balcony) was extremely small, as was the bath. The bath featured a very narrow tub with shower. The TV worked fine, but had only French and German channels; wifi was impossible. Our view was to the parking lot and the woods beyond. We had the misfortune of being directly below a guest who seemed to be moving furniture around into the wee hours, and then was up quite early! Dinner in the restaurant was mostly very good – three of the four of us had a multi-course menu that included a foie gras first course. (While the foie gras portion was surprisingly large, the lower of the two pieces was extremely overcooked.) Cheese selection was outstanding.  Portions are substantial.
