We had a wonderful couple of days at La Maison des Vignes. It's a beautiful place to stay, breakfast was absolutely delicious, and Patrick and Helene were very thoughtful and kind hosts. Our two children were made very welcome. We'd definitely stay here again and would recommend. Thank you!

Beautiful accommodation with lovely hosts

The host is very welcoming, giving tips about Bordeaux and what to visit. The room had a very good size and comfortable. Very tasking breakfast with fresh products. Near the tram station, that is very handy. Also you can get a space in a garage 3 min walking from the Maison. The history of the house is very particular! Nice experience :)

Good stay!

Second stop on our French Honeymoon. The street Maison Des Vignes is located is evocative of the classic Bordeaux aesthetic, cobbled streets, weathered stone and plenty of hanging ivy. What makes Patrick and Helenes home unique is that the inside of the house used to be the outside, which gives the building a distinctly artistic dimension. The apartment room was spacious, airy and subtley luxurious with a large wash basin, rooftop deck and beautifully crafted furniture. Added to this, the breakfast of fresh fruit, delicate pastries and sumptuous conserves set us up perfectly for days spent in a joyously wine fuelled haze.

One of the best family hotels

Patrick and Helene were both charming and very welcoming. Accommodation is very comfortable and spotlessly clean and we appreciated the air conditioning. Breakfast was plentiful and freshly made.  Hotel is a short walk from the old city with its beautiful architecture.  We would recommend staying here.

Lovely hotel

Patrick and Helene are charming hosts and made us feel very welcome. The property is very characterful and the room we took had a spacious and comfortable bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. There are other spaces where you can relax reading a book and take advantage of the tea/coffee facilities available to guests. Breakfast was exceptional with home made granola, yoghurt, amazing fruit bowl and fresh croissants and bread plus freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee/tea. We cannot recommend highly enough!

Excellent stay

Unfortunately, today is our last day in this superb B&B. The service has been superb in every respects. Patrick’s English is very good and he was able to give us lots of useful advice. He had marked a walking route which we used and he also recommended two restaurants which we really enjoyed..
    The breakfasts are absolutely first class with homemade yoghurt , muesli and jams, fresh fruit, croissants, delicious breads and cheese. Orange juice and tea/coffee of course. Patrick even asked us whether we preferred salted or unsalted butter !! The service and comfort in this amazing establishment is really beyond anything we’ve received in 5 star hotels.
    It is within easy walking distance of countless bars and restaurants and a short distance from the Liane1 bus stop .
    Believe me, you will love it here just as we have.

A wonderful stay

We were treated to exceptionally kind and thoughtful service from Patrick at this beautiful hotel. The entire house is exquisitely furnished with rustic exposed sandstone walls, fireplaces and gorgeous linen. We were treated to a wonderful breakfast spread each morning - delightfully presented and tasty. Such amazing value and a highlight of our stay in Bordeaux. Merci beaucoup Patrick! Loveliest hosts in Bordeaux! 

We enjoyed a weekend in Bordeaux, staying at this excellent, small, cosy place. The hotel does not have it´s own parking, but just before we arrived, the hosts sent us a message saying "you can park your car in front of the door", and they were there waiting for us at the entrance, making sure that we had no problems of parking well. We had the big duplex room, with terrace. Unfortunately, it was raining, so we will have to come back in summer to enjoy it. The bed was excellent, nd everything was very comfortable. The breakfast was of good quality, with fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, a variety of homemade marmelades, cereales, yoghurt, croisants..
We had no problems with connecting to the Wi-Fi, which was fast.
The hosts were very friendly, and very service-minded giving us information about wineries to visit, restaurants etc. 
This charming hotel is in an old building, with narrow stairs to the rooms, so it is not recommended for people using wheelchairs. Appart from that, it can be 100% recommended. Very good value for money.

EXCELLENT!

This is a fabulous find. Beautiful property in a quirky area, close to the bustling centre of Bordeaux. Our room was gorgeous, very spacious and decorated as stylishly as any 5 star hotel we've ever stayed in. The owners are lovely and went well out of their way to help us enjoy our stay. The breakfast was to die for with almost every delicious item being homemade, bread, pastries, conserves, granola and yoghurt. Also served the best coffee we found in France. This gem can't possibly stay hidden for long; book early!
