Worst place we’ve stayed in France. It was dirty, owners were rude. Breakfast was minimal, bread was stale, watermelon tasted of garlic and there was a long black hair in the orange juice. Room was ok, but no air conditioning- unbearably hot, too many mosquitoes, not enough ventilation.

You are paying to stay in a room in someone's house.Don't expect anything like you would get in a regular B&B/Hotel.We stayed in the 4-poster bedroom room

Close to bus / tram route gets you into Bordeaux centre 10-15mins
Owner stored our luggage at no extra charge after check out.
Above average size en-suite room
Tea / coffee provided in room
Face-cloths provided (unusual to get these)
Room was quiet
Comfortable bed - matress tending on firm side which we like

We didn't like
Owner has a dog (we really do love dogs) but that comes with all the things that dogs do - weeing on grass round pool,laying on sunbeds etc.
No air-con, but there was a fan supplied.
General use toiletries (large bottle of s/gel which previous guests will have used)
Scratchy towels and not enough rails to hang them on after use to dry properly (we had to hang them over the bed-frame)
Extras (cotton pads,etc) a nice enough gesture but they weren't in sealed packages
Communal breakfast all round the same table - V difficult for us as we don't speak french and we felt a bit 'left out'. We prefer our own table and to breakfast peacefully just the two of us.
Whole experience seemed a bit 'tired'
Far too many nic-naks in our room - had to put them in drawers so we didnt break anything
Wardrobe space had owners stuff in, and really poor quality hangers
No TV in room

Doubt we would stay here again

2 night stay July 2019 - OK(ish) but a bit over-priced for what you got

It was terrible - a nightmare is an understatement, this is just someone's house that charges hotel prices, dirty grimy pool was a no no, room was dirty, whole house smelt, breakfast - bread & jam with coffee if your lucky.
Couldn't wait to leave - it still gives me nightmares. 
And when we tried to pay by credit card, we were told cash only !!

Dont go there

The host was rude, the room was noisy. I am not a particularly difficult traveller, but I was not happy about the service or the friendliness of our host. 
We had reserved a particular room (one w a washroom), which we had to insist we wanted, upon arrival because the preceeding guests wanted to extend.
The room has no A/C. Not a problem as it was comfortably cool at night (September), but would be a huge problem in summer, because the street noise continues ALL night and you would not be able to sleep with the windows open. 
Most B&B hosts will not object if you bring food to eat, outside or other, provided you clean perfectly after yourself. She threw a fit because we ate prepared sandwiches out on the patio table (outside, along the path from the street to her door).
The internet signal was too weak in the bedroom, so I moved into the hall to email my kids. She came up, looked at me, said nothing but shut down the light. Hugh? I explained to her that I needed light and turned it on again. 
Would I go back? No. Never. Yet I love B&Bs and find them the best way to travel. Usually anyway.

It's on a boulevard...

We arrived at 3pm and the place was locked. We knocked, phoned, emailed and got no reply. We went into Bordeaux (which is lovely by the way) and came back two hours later. Still no reply, texts or anything. We booked into the Ibis instead (which was also very good - and much handier than this place). 
She emailed later (at 6:30) to say that, as she didn't know when we were arriving, she went shopping instead! Do not stay here. We are still awaiting the return of our deposit which I guess she lives off as I can't believe anybody would ever get in here let alone stay here.

couldn't even get in!

We enjoyed our stay of three nights in this b&b. The rooms very spacious, the garden and setting with swimming pool very pleasant. it is not too far away from the city center, there is a nice Italian restaurant close by. The owner is a bit nonchalant, but we like it more that way, and that you keep your privacy respected. 
But: the rooms are spacious, but empty, just a bed in it, two night tables, little closet and one chair. We missed a seating area-sofa in the room. The breakfast is very simple: bread with marmalade. although home made, I expect more from a b&b. For the price we payed we expected more but it wasn't a bad stay.

We reserved 3 nights at this b b , we only stayed 1 night and left and informed the owner of the issues with her B&B . garden is a mess , pool filthy. 
The room had mold on the walls and the shower did not drain, the owner also partied until late in the night with her friends,
Do not stay here !
