Cool interior by design agency, friendly hosts and a great street filled with hip bars and shops. I will return! You must be able to walk the stairs to the top floor. We had some good drinks in the bar across the street and at Au but du quai in the harbor

Nice designer appartement 

We stayed two nights in the Vieux Panier and we loved it. We had the room with the wooden blocks (about 750) hanging on the ceiling above our bed. That was quite an experience. But we slept well, none of the blocks fell on our heads. Breakfast was good and the staff very helpful. The B&B is located in the heart of Le Panier, a lovely neighborhood with a lot of cozy shops, restaurants and nice bars. Don't forget to book a spot in the tapas bar down the street as we were too late and had to go to the harbor for dinner. It is close to all must-sees in Marseille, but there is some climbing involved! The whole atmosphere of the B&B fits perfectly in the area around and is definitely worth the visit.

An experience

I guess the title gives it away. I spent one night at the Vieux Panier and I really enjoyed it. I arrived very early and was offered breakfast, lots of recommendations for dinner (it was a Sunday), directions to the museum, advice on how to chose "Savon de Marseille", etc. Staff is nice and attentive (also to comments about minor things needing fixing in the from). My room was big, nice, comfortable and clean. Location is just perfect. Breakfast selection is really nice. I do recommend without hesitation. 

Nice concept, confortable rooms, friendly staff

Stayed here for 4 nites. Breakfast is superb and the location is excellent. In a very artistic, lively, and friendly spot not far from the port area. Staff is very helpful and the breakfast was incredible. Sleep within an art installation with plenty of space. Loved the tapas bar just five feet from the place as well. Will definitely stay here again!

B&B with eclectic charm

What a find.
This was the most unusual hotel we have ever stayed in.
It was in the heart of the old town which was full of life and character.
The room was out of this world but also comfy and practical.
Breakfast was yummy and the owners super friendly.
A must stay in Marseille.
