This grand house with eclectic decorations offers accomodation for 10-12.  Plenty of space for all.  Big, well equipped kitchen.  Large sitting areas with open fires. Bedrooms large and each with ensuite.  Village with supermarket and other services about 10 minutes away.  Great location from which to explore the greater Burgundy region.

A gorgeous place to stay in rural Burgundy.

We were three families of 12 staying in the chateau for a week. The property is amazing, eclectic modern furnishings in a rural setting. Lots for kids to do as house equipped with bikes and games. We used the local chef from chez Camille to cook for us which was excellent.

It is though a fair drive to beaune and Dijon making everything at least 30 mins away.

I would highly recommend the wine tour for beginning of the trip for a good understanding of burgundy wines.

We also made a trip to Bernard loiseau restaurant which was amazing, expensive but worth it.

We would not ever recommend using europcar Dijon. The lady was extremely rude and cancelled our cars leaving us no option but a 150 euro taxi to get to the chateau.

Australian families holidaying in france

Our stay at Château de Cécile was simply incredible. It is a gorgeous home, in a gorgeous area of our world. It is one of the few places that we have enjoyed staying "in" as much as going "out!" We frequented the local restaurants, and made short trips to many local attractions, including Beaune, Dijon and many others. The house is amazingly decorated -- with a mix of old and new, and had everything we needed for our amazing vacation in France. I would highly recommend this house to a friend. Additionally, Gerard and all the staff at Château Experiences were incredibly helpful.

This 18 th century gem had been tastefully renovated in industrial chic, with clever blushes of history at every corner. As a home in Burgundy for 4 to 5 couples it is impressive, friendly and evocative. The Chateau is tendered by Gerrard who is marvellous host, full of local knowledge and determined to make your stay a memorable one. We loved the area and the local restaurants were a treat.

Highly recommended by all of us.


Chateau to Savour

my partner and I stayed at the Chateau with 6 friends-it was an amazing place even though the weather was cold and raining every day-Dijon is less than an hour away and the Chateau is close to Autun and some amazing wineries and village markets.  The kitchen is well equipped though really needs an additional oven to cater for the amount of people it sleeps.  We had an absolute ball in this amazing mini castle!
