We have been on a number of occasions, but it appears they have new owners.
The first impression was that nothing had changed. But the room we had was not up to the previous standard. Coffee making machine in the room with tea pods, great, no milk.
Bedside lamp broken.
Noisy in the morning.
Staff were OK, but not as it used to be. A shame.

Change of owners and quality

Very convenient for Calais and Channel tunnel and ferries (less than an hour away) it is in a daytime pedestrianised area, so is hard to find if driving. Car park even more so. Had to leave car at end of street and walk to hotel for info on how to get to car park. Met by smiling and charming receptionist who explained the directions to me. Hotel & room very nice. Great shower & comfy bed. The only downside was the terrible breakfast. Very poor selection available of unappetising food. For a hotel of this price range it let it down badly. I suggest they check out Ibis hotels for a quality check.

One night stopover

Basic Hotel bit tired. Very noisy from street on Saturday night . Terrible small lift.  Staff on Fri and Sat helpful lady on reception Sunday morning very unfriendly and quite rude. Room had a broken light and bulbs missing as was only staying for 2 nights didn't report as too much hassle . 

Weekend break

The hotel is in a central location with very friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were modern and well appointed. The en-suite was huge with a large shower but the separate toilet was a tight squeeze for even a small person!
The downside was parking -none available at the hotel but there was a secure car park a short distance away for a charge of €14 a day. ( Unfortunately our Land Rover with a roof box did not fit so the only option was on street parking-not ideal). However this was a
nice hotel which, despite some reservations, I would recommend.

Good location but...

We were only staying for one night, but found all facilities to be exactly as advertised.  The hotel is in the centre close to plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.  Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Parking was also very good.

Great location

Stayed one night (a Saturday) in January. Lovely hotel, slap bang in the middle of Boulogne town centre, mere yards from Place Dalton and surrounded by small shops. That said our night was very peaceful and we were not disturbed at all.  

Very friendly and helpful staff, throughout our entire stay. Desk is manned 24/7. English is spoken if needed. 

Getting to the hotel by car is interesting as the part of the street it is in is no entry before 2000 hours at night. The hotel has a private garage car park with a controlled access door (€14 per day) which seemed very secure some 200 metres away in an adjacent street. However you need to visit reception to get the code, so you may end having to temporarily park on street  nearby and walking to reception. 

Plenty of resatuarants in Place Dalton and the port/harbour is at most 10 minutes walk, while the old town is a 15 minute walk up hill. 

We had a Privilege double, which was lovely, comfortable bed, nicely furnished, complimentary bathrobes and slippers in the wardrobe if you want them, good bathroom, powerful hot shower. All we could have wanted. 

Decent continental breakfast, good range of breads and pastries, plus chheses, hams and yoghurts. Bacon and scambled egg provided also. 

Would actively seek to stay there again when in Boulogne.

Lovely hotel

We stayed in this hotel from 11 till 13 januari 2020 and really enjoyed our stay,we had a privilige two person room that was clean and with separate shower and toilet.
The staff was very friendly.
The breakfast was also very nice and enough different choises.

Very good hotel in center of city

I checked out of this hotel on the 28th December 2019 and paid in full on the morning that i left.

I notice that my pre-authorisation of my card for the full amount of the stay has not yet been returned and have been told it could be up to 15 working days.

Is this usual? Why did the hotel just not authorise the pre authorisation instead of taking a second payment?

Non return of deposit

The hotel is OK, Friendly people, nice breakfast and the room is OK. The only thing I hesitate about is the extremely tiny shower; this is no 3 stars for me. The hotel is situated in the middle of the city center which makes it a great place tot stay.

A good chouce for a visit to Boulogne, right in the centre, very convenient for shops restaurants and other attractions.
Modern well furnished rooms. Private secure parking is available and well worth the 14€ charge as on syreet parking is not easy.
