Generally a good all round family, holiday, with lots of activities to do and realy good pools and beach. Where looking to go again. Its not center Parks but it is much better value for money!      
Side note We travelled from calais to the campsite and drove through the night so the kids would sleep. workd well and there are lots of rest ares on route with service ares so excellent for cat naps. Its a very long way so hope that helps others planing the same journey for the UK

The staff are really friendly and really well organised. The animation team are great with the kids and very engaging. The site is really clean along with the cabin. Swimming pool are is huge and has good facilities for kids to use withinh the pool area for example the slides. The site has it’s own beach and easy access, beach is clean. Would defiantly go again and would recommend any family thinking  about going to book.

It was a great vacation, we were welcome by Tarek L. he is an exceptional manager. The site is clean well managed and the accommodation are great. Excellent location.
They are a lot to do for the family. Everything is within reach.

We were on route from Caen to Bormes le Mimossas and used this place as a stop off.What a nice surprise.The reception staff were very nice ,helpful a young lady took us to our lodge which was number 13 near the swimming pool and she did the hand over .It was that nice we could have moved in and stayed permanently.It was super clean and tidy .Two bedrooms one with a double and the other two singles.It had a washing machine for your clothes.It was fully equipped.If you are with your kids the pool is just over there about 50 feet away life guard was on duty at all times when we were there.The on site food shop was well stocked there was a hairdressers gift shop very very good cycle rental facility.Access to the beach is a two minute walk from number 13.Sete .......stunning Sete is about ten minutes away by car its fabulous.The underground car park in the centre is spot on. I would give this  Camping Tohapi Castellas 10 out of 10 thank you

Let's have a look at it:
- location : juste along the shore, taking the breakfast looking at the sea was marvelous and you have a rapid access to the cycle path. Even if it s a huge camping (rent a bicycle), you never have this impression
- swimming pool: great complexe with 7 toboggans, but a bit overcrowded in the afternoon 
- mobile home : confortable, well equipped
- service : perfect, rapid, open-minded, efficient, and friendly (truly😁)
- snacks, shops: several spots with even 2 bakers (try the 1in the end)
- animation: not the level of a genuine club but  some rather great, and there is a fair at 5 km
We will have to come back...

There's a lot of good at Le Castellas Camping...but some room to improve.

We selected an Ultimate Cabin which was a good size for 2 adults and 1 child (12 nights). Travelling from Ireland.

The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Pillow are poor, so bring your own if you can.

This is a very large park and you need a car to get here and travel around the local area. Checkin is easy and we did not have any problems with the accommodation during our stay.

The on site shop is reasonable, but the Lidl in Sete (about 15 minutes away) is a great option to stock up on essentials that you will need. There's also a smaller Lidl in Agde about 10 minutes away also.

The boulangerie opens at 7am and there's a good selection of baked goods every day. There's also a pizza/fast food takeaway that can get very busy.

Travel around the site using the frequent shuttle service, but that can get very busy at lunch times. So be prepared to wait in the heat.

There are a number of pools here, with a very busy main pool area. It's really just too small for the shear numbers of people here, so there is the usual scramble for deck chairs at certain times of the day. There is no opportunity to swim in the pool as there are too many people.

This is a very french experience. And most of the campers during our stay were French. Rarely did we hear an English accent. That was the most disappointing part for us. All the animation is in french, if you don't speak the language don't expect an easy way for your family to meet new friends. And that is the main reason why we will not return here.

We were lucky enough to stay in a new mobile home, it was fully equipped and clean. We were 2 mins walk from the beach and a shuttle on a regular basis to the pool area. There was a holiday club for our youngest which he enjoyed and the entertainment in the evenings was fun too. The pool area was clean and well maintained. Although many people seem to complain the camping is in the middle of nowhere, you can drive to the nearest town about 20 mins away so you are not cut off entirely. They do also have a little shop on site which has eveything you need and is not expensive at all. We enjoyed our stay as a family of four. We went in June however before it get busy. Would we go again? Yes, but out of season - I can imagine it gets quite hectic in July / August as any camp site would and then it is difficult for staff to manage all their clients and then that is when you have problems. Overall, it was a great holiday for us, lazy days next to the pool and walks on the beach. Just what we needed to recharge!

Fabulous family holiday site 

Excellent stay

I booked 10 days in this campsight which, from the photos, looked great. I didn't realise it's litterally in the middle of nowhere ie: in between Sete and Marseillant but no shops, restaurants, life around, aside from the campsite's facilities. We stayed in an Ecolux tent which wasn't clean when we arrived and was missing a pan, some cutlery, and had a broken salad washer bowl. We asked for extra blankets as well as the nights were cold and we got given blankets which seemed to have been cleaned as they came inside a plastic hermetic cover. When I opened the plastic, all of the 4 individually wrapped blankets were covered in what i assume is white dog hair! it was discusting. I didn't bother reporting it to reception as i must have been day 4 and it had taken me 4 days to get these, plus the missing pan. I am still waiting for the rest of the missing stuff (!). 
The worse experience was with some of the "animators" and I name here Sylvain and Alexi. My teenage children were asked by Sylvain if they had any data on their phone and Sylvain then went on the TripAdvisor website to write his own review on how great the Teen Tohapi club was etc etc. My daughter realised that something was weird when she saw him type a very long paragraph and she managed to stop him publishing it. She reported it to me and I reported it to Reception who said: "Oh, they were supposed to wait a few more days to do this". I was shocked as they obviously knew this practice. I saw the disonesty of some of the people there, including the management and I was so disappointed. Sylvain and Alexi were also trying to get too close to teenage girls which looked unhealthy, especially with the touching their lower back and making skin contact. They should not be working with teenage girls.
Another shocking thing was that we were in the middle of a pandemic and the toilets at the pool didn't have anything to wash your hands with (no sink). I asked if we could have some get and they said the machine was broken. I suggested they bought a normal big get bottle and they said yes (one lady said it was a bad idea as it would be stolen (?!) but it took a week for a bottle of gel to be put outside of the toilets. Can't be bothered attitude was felt also with the security who must have been sleeping at night, instead of going around to make sure the noise was kept down. They were not doing their job and we had to put up with the noise of people in their tent, speaking loud, laughing and making noise at 4am, as if it was the middle of the day. Bad sleep = bad mood = bad holidays.

The toilet and shower block was not cleaned enough and had ants crawling from everywhere every day. There was a guy posted at the showers, supposedly to clean between each person but he wasn't cleaning as you could find hair on the wall and the showers were dirty brown all around the floors. The queues were also another annoying thing as there were only a few showers for all of the tent residents which was ridiculous.  

The only good thing was the seriousness of the people doing the sports classes, compared with the clown which did them in Tohapi Montalivet in August 2020.The beach was clean and big so plenty of space for everyone, but no wave at all and quite cold (18/19C). The campsite is pretty with lots of flowery plants. The snack bars were mixed with good pizza but dry chicken and chips. The supermarket had bad fruit everyday but provided a place to get small things. The boulangerie food display was always dirty (the windows where the croissants etc are displayed). Again, it was ok for baguette but the rest wasn't of good French standard.
Been there, done that but I won't go back again

Not clean, dishonest and can't be bothered attitude

Visited this campsite following a lovely holiday to Argeles Sue Met last year. Booked a Premium mobile home through Canvas Holidays which was fantastic - almost brand new and very spacious for a family of 5. However campsite was very much a “French” destination, which is fine with me but it also had a very “corporate “ feel, probably partly due to its size. Campsite runs the length of a beautiful beach where there was always plenty of space. However the pool was at the entrance to the campsite and was almost a mile from our mobile home - and there were mobile homes even further away! Too far to walk in the heat so we spent most of our time at the beach. Pool was also very crowded and not really big enough for the size of the site. Shop was ok and Bakery good - although again this was situated at the campsite entrance. Restaurant was expensive and menu limited so we didn’t visit.
