The hotel is pretty basic but the room gave me everything i needed - bed & bathroom - and they were nicely cleaned every day. There’s not much sound proofing though and you may well get wakened by people coming back from the bars at night. 
The breakfast was classic continental with good coffee out the machine and selection of cheese, meat and pastries - all good ahead of a days skiing.
The cost was much less than equivalent up in Meribel so good value.
Brides is about a 30 minute bubble ride away from Meribel and the lift is only 5 minute walk from the hotel. Note that you can rent a locker at the lift station to store your skis and boots - saves lugging them up the hill.
Meribel and the three valleys ski area is exceptional and gives a huge range of options. Definitely recommend.

Clean and good value

Used the hotel for a 4 day ski holiday with friends.  The room was clean and was cleaned each day.  The bathroom, albeit small was absolutely fine with a powerful and warm shower.
The Wi-Fi was good enough for us to use an Amazon Fire stick.  No complaints as the hotel was so inexpensive.
The staff were friendly.

Perfect for a cheap skiing base.

Clique inside, unwelcoming with a cackling old soak English woman switching at the top of her voice between french and english, sounded like a witch and made visitors feel very unwelcome along with the rude barman, forget this place

Bar visit only

Very basic rooms but cleaned to a high standard every day.
Hotel with a bar and restaurant with good quality food and again great service. 
Overall for the price we paid you wouldn't find better in this area.
Hotel is right by the ski lift and all the shops giving it a superb location.

Brides le bains is a small town at the bottom of Olympic gondola but will take you up to the three valleys.

Skiing trip - excellent value for money

I booked to stay here and requested a late check in, which never happened.

I received a response a couple of hours after my late check in request saying to confirm my booking I needed to input my bank details. Taking this as confirmation I assumed everything was good. I also proceeded to email again before I set off that all was still go for my late check in.

Unfortunately on arrival they decided against being there for my late check in. At 12am I had to find somewhere else to stay.

The owner refused to take my calls or apologise. If it wasn't for Bookings.com, who were excellent, I would have been in a world of bother.

Location wise it is good for the ski lift and right in the middle of town for shops and ski hire. We did mange to see the communal areas whilst trying to check in, these were tired and dated. You get what you pay for with this place. It's very budget and pretty run of the mill.

My advice is don't take the risk of a late check in. If you're arriving during the day and fancy a central low budget place then you'll be OK.
