Great Service , great resort, and fantastic holiday. 
Valerie  made the booking experience very easy and all the arrangements went as planned.  So we just turned up and had a wonderful holiday.
It's a great location.  Excellent for families. 
Plus good value.

Recommend a Holiday at Etang Vallier Resort 

Our stay at Etang Vallier was fantastic. The accommodation was of an excellent standard, well equipped and clean and the hot tub was such a nice addition - being able to sit out and listen to birds in the morning and watch shooting stars in the evening!
The 'park' itself was clean, natural and quiet. The host, Valerie, was lovely, attentive but leaving us to enjoy our holiday.

The pool was a perfect size for the children to play and for us to swim, and never got crowded.

There was a great night of fun by the lakeside, with a BBQ and music and dancing, great for families to enjoy but only once a week so didn't spoil the peace and quiet.

The only downside was that the restaurant onsite had quite limited opening hours.

We would thoroughly recommend this place!

We stayed three days to rest and visit the region.
House are perfect. Big and clean with everything. Beds are good.
We enjoyed the lake and the pool and brossac has a nice restaurant with a good baileys coffee.

Perfect stay / très bon accueil

I stayed at Etang Vallier resort this summer with my Partner, his 14 year daughter, my 14 and 10 year old sons.  The first few days were quiet which was lovely as the UK school holidays had not begun.  They had the pool to themselves.  But even when it got busier it didn't really matter. You could always get a sunbed and the pool is a lovely size and very clean.  The lake is so close and a lovely spot in the evening when the sun goes off the pool but is on the lake.  You need to get used to the feel of the ground in the lake.  The house was perfect with 3 bedrooms.  Two with double beds and one with 2 bunk beds (not sure if same in every house).  One bedroom had an ensuite and there is a min bathroom.  Lovely outside space and a BBQ.  We spent the evenings just playing cards and games which the kids loved.  They had our attention!!! There is a club house at the lake if you like to have a drink and the restaurant on the site overlooks the lake with nice food and really friendly staff.  Need to book in high season.  There is very little in the village - a spar, church, chemist and a resturant - this is nice and does very good takeawy pizza! you need to ring in your order in advance and also pre book for dinner.  We did kayaking in Aubeterre which was lovely and is also a nice spot for food and has a great church to visit.  There is a lake nearby that is worth a visit - aire de loisirs de beauvallon - paddle boats etc.  We took a spin in Bordeaux which is a fab city and only an hours drive.  

Relaxing and back to basics

Nine of us stayed at this resport, on a wedding visit in the nearby Brossac village. I stayed with five others in a Chalet that slept 7, had a large living area and a bathroom, plus extra toilet. An outside table an chairs provided a nice space to sit in the shade or sunshine, and there were sun loungers as well as chairs and a stone pizza oven, if needed. There was also a double washing line, washing machine and dish washer,oven and sky tv. 
At the bottom of the road, there is a man made beach around an inland lake, with a bar and resaurant, though these were close during our stay, but you could still swin in the lake and walk around the parimiter or sun bathe.

Wedding Visit Septemeber 2019

Lovely location and delightful area of France. Clubhouse adds a bit extra as can be a little rural for some. 

Pool can be busy when hot and definitely cools you down... for those a little braver try the lake! 

Beer is good and chips in the clubhouse do the trick. 

Recommend the bakers and butchers in nearby Brossac.

Great place to while away or become very active Bars nice too Thursday evenings summertime have free entertainment .With a beach children can either make sand castle or use the children's equipment. And if so inclined make a barbecue at the station there

We live in the village and use this facility

We have just returned from the Etang Valier Resort and had the most fantastic time. Absolutely loved the place and could not recommend the resort for families more. The resort itself is a centred around a beautiful man made lake with beaches running at two sides of the late. Watersports are offered, there is a lovely snack bar and the environment is very safe for youngsters.

The lady that looks after you, Nina, is wonderful, so helpful and friendly and helped us with numerous requests all to complete satisfaction. The Villa we stayed in was newly built so very clean and fitted to a high standard, this was on the newer side of the resort where the houses are privately owned. We were very happy indeed with our accommodation and would definitely return to this house. The pool which we could also use was lovely and clean and well maintained. 

The resort itself had a number of activities on offer for example wake boarding etc.. but we didn't try these, we were quite happy to visit the beaches and pool as our 5 year old loved messing around in the water. The beach snack bar had a small but well made range of food on offer and was well situated right next to the beach, we used this often.

One of the highlights of our stay was watching one of the evening concerts that were put on by the town of Brossac on the beach front. The traditional French music was fantastic to listen to and brought out both locals and holiday makers alike, which made for a great atmosphere to be part of. These are only on over the summer months and have now ended. We also dined at the restaurant Qui Sud which again was lovely and great to have a restaurant in walking distance.

Altogether a great place and we will definitely be returning as the setting was so beautiful.

Fantastic Relaxing French Resort

After a last minute change to our original french holiday we ended up renting a villa at etang vallier resort which we found on line. We didn't really know what to expect as we didn't have much time to research the place, however we were very pleasantly surprised. I can only describe it as a bit of a french centre parks. The villa, of which most are privately owned was of ample size and very comfortable also very well equipped. There is a private pool area which is well looked after and has plenty of sun beds, or if you are more adventurous a swimming lake with man made beeches and water sports (at an extra cost) there is a restaurant on site offering a range of dishes and a three course fixed price menu for €22. We ate twice and the food was excellent and very well presented. There is also the on site club house offering drinks and snack menu including home made pizzas and burgers, I tried the belly buster burger one night which had cheese, bacon and topped with a fried egg and needles to say was fantastic. They had a bbq night, and a few live bands on certain nights. The girls working the bar were friendly and spoke to us each night and even involved the children in the conversation which they loved. As a family on the whole we really enjoyed the place and would definitely return and recommend it to others. Massive thank you to all the staff that made our time there so enjoyable. 

Fantastic family holiday 

I would definitely recommend this resort for groups of friends/family that want a peaceful setting in a rural location. I stayed here with my partner and friends in a three bedroom two bathroom chalet close to the outdoor pool. The chalet was basic but clean and had everything we needed. We choose this resort as was close to a friends wedding and we were so glad we stayed here. Brossac town isn't far away, although you do need a car to get around as very remote (but this is a positive) The lake itself is lovely and everyone in our group enjoyed sitting on the sand or by the cafe during the day. We had lunch and dinner at the cafe, and also dinner at the restaurant which I would also recommend. Our chalet had a well equipped kitchen so we drove to a local supermarket and got supplies for a BBQ out on our decking area, very nice change to eating out and I think many others did the same. Just one thing to note, another group of friends stayed on the other side of the resort (cafe side) and their accommodation was of a much lower standard. I did hear there is the option to upgrade so check this before you book I.e there appears to be a clear difference between the chalets. As mentioned ours was perfect for what we wanted so no complaints! Would come again for sure if in the area
