budget hotel close to entry point to Cahors north. Rather bland and featureless but adequate. Room was comfortable and breakfast surprisingly good for the price but despite raising the matter twice with reception staff, we did not benefit from hot water during our stay.
Reception staff were exceptionally polite and helpful

This is a really good place to stay, nice and clean, such a great receptionnist polite, welcoming, helpful and beautiful. 

You made of my trip a wonder before visiting and exploring the full of charming city Cahors.

Cahors escale

This hotel is well worth considering, my night stay there  came to under £30 including a really good fresh breakfast with excellent coffee in a really tastefully set out eating room. Bed was clean and comfortable, kettle in room with selection of drinks was a welcome bonus. TV channels include the Be-in sports, three German and some Spanish broadcasters. Good size room as well as large shower, plenty of full strength hot water what more really do you look for? the furniture in room maybe showing some sign of age but there was lots of shelf space. Whatever negatives you might preconceive about this hotel I assure you would be more than compensated for by the things the owners have concentrated on; left this hotel definitely feeling refreshed with sense the people who run it cared unlike some of the large chains you can stay at.

Value Good Stop-over Friendly Staff

A Good overnight stay, Nice clean room Friendly welcome, free secure overnight parking, free WiFi, and dogs welcome what more could you ask for for 35 euros, booked direct as I found it cheaper.
The only downside is that it is a fair way outside of the centre so a car is a must.

Good Quality and Price

First time used this hotel and found it to be basic but very clean.  However, would recommend you book direct with hotel as rooms are 55euro a night if you do, however via hotels.com we paid more than that then breakfast on top.
Aircon which was very welcome due to exceedingly high temperatures.  Staff helpful and pleasant.  Allowed us to leave car in parking for the day when checked out.
There was an Ibis just a few meters down road which had swimming pool and not much dearer which we will use next time.
Hotel situated back from busy main road so didn't hear traffic.  Breakfast had good variety and was served from 7 to 11am.

Weekend stay

The bedroom was clean and comfortable but smelled badly of smoke when we arrived despite there being a no smoking sign in the room. The shower was great, wish all hotels were like this. Unfortunately we had to leave early so I can’t comment on the breakfast but it did smell very good on our way out. Try to avoid bedroom 3 as the neon flashing H sign continued to flash all night long and the bedroom curtain was inadequate making the bedroom very light. 

Adequate hotel

Many better options actually in Cahors. It has a poor location, if not driving and very basic. Fine for one night but not for anything more. Staff do not communicate well and not friendly. At first I thought it 'good for the money' however we left a day early (for the BRIT Hotel which was 8 euros more and 5x times better) as we were not happy. We emailed and spoke to reception about amending our booking but no joy, made us pay for full stay even though we left early... A hotel catering for international guests should have someone on the staff who can communicate. Had a very French 'if you don't like then tough' attitude which some people might find charming but I found dated and unhelpful.

Much better options for the money

Great basic hotel, good clean room. Nice French speaking reception staff and delightfully dog friendly. On site safe free parking,A Good nights sleep
on our journey south. Not fancy but excellent value for money I expect we shall stay again. 

Overnight stop 

We stopped just one night on our way to the south of France. 

Shame the lady at reception couldn't speak a word of English and it was lucky we had someone with us that could, the lady was very polite and helpful. 

The rooms had ensuite and clean and tidy, one big thing, it had tea coffee milk and a kettle, very impressed with that. 

Bed was fairly comfy. 

Parking was just outside the hotel, be careful as the hotel is off the road so if your not careful you may miss it. 

I'd recommend a stay here.
