We spent a week in this hotel while moving all the day visiting the country, and we had dinner every night.

The hotel is quiet and ideally located near to the wineyards , the famous Chateau Lagrezette is at nearly walking distance.

The food is excellent: the Chef owned his Michelin stared restaurant and decided to step out to working more quietly, proposing a menu only for dinner, with a limited choice. But all the dishes are excellent, the vegetables are fresh picked in the morning from a local producer and coocked to perfection.

We enjoyed notably a white gaspacho with summer truffles, a "pressé de fois gras et confit de canard", a simple but tasty "omelette aux cèpes".

The rooms are modern, well equipped, there is a swimming pool, and the chef and his wife are just  hospitable and lovable.

We plan to return there to really enjoy the French way of life!

Excellent French cuisine, nice rooms, quiet and beautiful place

This hotel is beautiful. It is situated in a lovely little village overlooking a lake, with the bowls and square. It is very French and charming. The rooms are modern, clean and very well decorated. The pool was a nice touch to relax and there were also lots of other rooms to retire to in the hotel. The hotel restaurant was lovely and the food experience was excellent. There were some very helpful people, especially the welsh waiter in the morning. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect, quiet, beautiful hotel

A while ago we decided that the best way to deal with arriving at a holiday rental was to "bookend" the visit. It takes all the stress of the journey and timing issues of handover away.
This time we decided to use the rooms of one of our favourite restaurants Le Vinois.
Time for the checklist.  1) room. good size, air conditioned, good bathroom size, comfortable bed, nice view... check   2) breakfast.  Ample for me. (I'm not a light eater), really good confiture.  Served on a lovely little terrace where you can watch the locals going about their business.  3) Staff.  All very helpful. I may be skewing it slightly as I have been coming here for years. However our German, French and Belgian  fellow guests seemed as happy as we are.
If you want a dip there is a nice little pool as well.
Annoyances.... only one I don't want to leave.
If your on a budget this may not be for you as the temptation to indulge on the wine list may be too much. I found the prices reasonable for what you get.
If your put off by the lack of private parking don't be.. it's a quiet little village off the main routes and the area you'll be parking in is directly opposite the hotel....

How to bookend a holiday

This hotel is situated in a charming little village close to Cahors.
Excellent rooms with modern badroom and excellent shower.
Good breakfast but, as usual in France, only sweets. You have to pay extra for cheese and ham.
Special room with parking for wheelchair users.

Good quality hotel

A very warm welcome in this family run hotel is a good start, it is meticulously clean, Wifi offered without having to ask and a lot of effort has gone into trying to make the sojourn of their guests the priority.  Our room was designed in a modern idiom and had everything we needed and the hotel in general is a welcome stop-over: quiet vicinity, close to a small lake, 300m from the river Lot and ancient beautiful church.

Breakfast was a dream; nothing was spared and served with an early morning welcome difficult to find in many hotels. So often, after excellent dinners, the following morning can be a great disappointment. This was a great and memorable meal. We shall return with confidence.
