This property is very strange. It ain't a hotel but rather a B&B accomodation. They don't provide anything in the room... even something as simple as a kettle. We were travelling with our baby and when we requested the lady (so this place is run by a couple who live on the ground floor and let out all other rooms for guests) for some hot water to enable us to prepare some milk, our expectation was met with a frown. When I requested after sometime if she could please lend me a kettle for about 15-20mins, she flatly refused saying,"This is my kettle. I cannot give it to you.". One clearly doesn't expect such treatment if one is travelling with a baby.
The next morning we discovered that the supposedly 'pillows' on our bed, weren't actual pillows but simply some foam bundled and rolled up under the bedsheets and passed off as pillows.
The breakfast was nothing but a variety of bread. That was quite frustrating too. 
The overall feel is quite bad. Don't expect any bathroom ameu

Highly NOT recommended!!

Think very carefully before you book this hotel. They have a policy of locking the door at 11pm sharp. Very sharp. We arrived at 11:05, the place was locked and dark. We had advised them that we would arrive between 10 and 11.They do not wait for 5 minutes, not even when you communicate your late arrival time. We had difficulties finding it. And the policeman we asked sent us a few streets nearby. They charged us 56 Euro as a "no show".  I had opted for the "pay at the hotel" option. The credit card was held for reservation purposes only. The only accommodation we could find that night, at short notice, was a hotel at over 150 Euro. If you are on an evening ferry, it may be worth your while spending a bit more on a hotel that will not lock its doors at 11pm .. sharp.

Think carefully before you book

We stayed for 3 nights in this Hotel, had the breakfast once, it was fine - I don't rave about French sticks for breakfast so would be unfair to knock it.  Nice touch having it brought to your room at whatever time you want.

Room had 2 double beds in, was clean, the owner spoke English and was helpful.  I have stayed in better and a lot worse places.

3 Nights in Calais

Basic but clean. Stayed in a large room with 2 double beds and ensuite - scratchy towels but comfy beds. Wifi slightly intermittent and could only find one plug socket. Pleasant & helpful staff. Great breakfast for 6€!

Generous breakfast

We had an overnight visit to Calais and stayed here. It is a really nice hotel. Very basic but great for the price. Very friendly landlady and informative about the town. The location of the hotel is excellent, a few minutes walk and in the town square. No traffic noise on the hotel is located on the corner of two roads and is located in the middle of a residential area. Parking was easy outside on the street. The room was nice. A bonus is for me and my part was that it shows UK tv channels. Not what I'd generally go away for to do but having a 1 year old child it helped with the early night in the room. 

Would definitely go back if in town.
