2 nights of love in a quiet place, in a spacious, very clean room, with excellent bedding, the practical and complete bathroom. Interesting price for the beautiful home carefully restored. Careful and abundant lunch: bread, fresh Viennese, cheeses and charcuterie, fruit, yogurt - chocolate tea or coffee at your disposal. Special attention and information given on tourism and the surrounding restaurants. Glad to have heard the history of this house, which is carefully restored.

Good time to stay calm 08/2022

This is well situated for channel crossings, but hard to find. Perhaps  using a pair of hedge clippers by the entrance might help ! Once we were inside, we had no problems. Our very pleasant hostess took us up to a spacious room complete with four poster, and an equably spacious bathroom. The rooms were simply furnished and looked out over the garden. And we did see the donkey at the bottom.
Breakfast next morning was at a shared long table and was a nice selection of yoghourt and jams etc. We slept well and enjoyed our breakfast.
The owner was very friendly and interesting. We enjoyed the house and its peaceful location. But please trim around the name board in the hedge.

A quiet country stay.

Very welcome and very good stay from 17 to 19 May 2022. The house is beautiful, the breakfasts are pleasant and the nights are restful. Very good advice on tourism nearby. I highly recommend.

We are in this charming house..immediately from... by the welcome of Madame we know that we are in a place that will please us.! Visit and explanations...in a beautifully maintained and very quiet setting.Bravo Madame! Thanks to smartbox we now know this guest room...we did not know that we could have dinner there.

It's a wonderful time!

We stayed one night in this beautiful house in the Calais district. A rather attractive fare at 85 euros breakfast included. As soon as we arrived Christine welcomed us warmly around an appetizer and told us about the history of this house. Quality guest table for 25 euros per person appetizer dessert plate entrance and 2 glasses of wine (book in advance). Interior and furniture with undeniable charm, a balcony bed, 2 chairs for tea with garden views. As for the bathroom, it is modern but perfectly decorated.

7 June 2021: the life of the castle

Already in 2018, we had kept a very nice memory of our stay and said we would come back. This time we went back to 3 and everything was impeccable again. The room we had looked more like a family suite since our 9-month-old son was able to have his own room, which made things much easier when we went to bed. We had an umbrella bed at our disposal and a high chair of the time that goes very well with the decoration) for breakfast. The house is beautiful, we feel like we're making a leap in time with the space and the spacious garden is the right place for the little morning and night walk.

It's a great place to relax.

Nice room spacious bathroom in a wonderful home, a pleasant breakfast the owner is very friendly. She offered us various activities near the coast, we could walk in Calais, Boulogne on the sea, sangatte...

It's a beautiful discovery like this Garenne Castle. In a green setting, we're transported to this beautiful 19th-century place, very well maintained and whose owners are listening to you, very kind.

Chastain time for a weekend

Great for a weekend break or a stop over to or from Calais. A proper old Chateau in a quiet corner of the village with a lovely garden. Great breakfast and there is evening food if you order in advance.

Friendly chateau not far from Calais

We had a lovely welcome from the owner. She advised us of places to eat, and rang to book us a table when we decided where to go.
The breakfast was simple but really nice.
The house is lovely and full of character, with a lovely garden, and a really sweet donkey :)
