We loved staying here, good location just 5 mins down the hill from the ski resort. Karine and Gilles were exceptional hosts. We ended up eating there every evening. Wonderful food and great company. We had planned to eat on the mountain but glad we didn’t.

Fantastic stay

Karine and Gilles made our stay here extremely memorable, they are very accommodating, friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. By the end of our stay they almost felt like family! 
The rooms are warm and very clean, our room had an exceptional view of the snowy mountains. 
One thing we liked in particular is the evening meal they offer, something different on the home cooked menu every evening and extremely good value for money. All of the guests sit at the same table with the hosts and its the perfect way to end a hard days skiing. 
We had lots of laughs here with Karine and Gilles as well as the other guests and felt extremely relaxed, we would definitely return and recommend this place to our friends and family.

Perfect place to stay in the heart of the french Pyrénées

I recommend this place for a visit to the Pyrenees National Park. It's in a great location within the park. The place is well maintained and clean. the people are very nice, helpful, and welcoming. The breakfast is great, and i highly suggest the dinner!

Comfortable, warm and welcoming, great location, great food

Another tripadvisor fail on their search - artigues of this place does not seem to exist on their search function. This is the second hotel their search function has failed with recently and I feel so sorry for the proprietors of excellent establishments.

To the auberge itself - simple rooms with en suite facilities. Very welcoming hosts, 3 miles from La Mongie ski resort and great evening meals. Not posy food but good solid cooking and often slow cooking at that.

Do make an effort for the 10-15 minutes walk to the cascades - very fine.
