I came here with my 2 teenagers who, like I did, really enjoyed the whole experience, starting from the bedroom we stayed in to the delicious dinner we were served. The restaurant had come recommended from other guests and they were right!
It was well worth the cost, so don’t hesitate as it feels like a great.

Great stay! Really great place with great atmosphere and deco

Our family of 5 loved this restaurant!  The owner was a lovely lady, very kind and helpful.  She was patient with our bad French.  The food was great also!  We would definitely return!  The wine list was great and the atmosphere is great both inside and out.  The owner is so kind it is worth a visit!

Great atmosphere!!

A friend and I were traveling through Brittany and on a whim, decided to see what restaurant we could stumble on in Cancale. We totally lucked out! We spent a total of 10 days in France and both agree the meal here was one of our favorites, if not the favorite. The service was perfect and the dinner was amazing. A couple runs it with the wife taking care of the front of the shop and the husband being the chef. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area and are already planning a trip where our husbands would be along.

Delightful dinner in Cancale!

The room is giant. we have been at the English writer suite that has the size of two room. The bed is very comfortable as well the shower room.Braekfast was great and the lady that run the place was very nice and very informative

Lovely decor and furniture throughout. Excellent welcome by the hostess. Very friendly dog called Vic le Cochon! Super location with free parking. There is a real sense of history about this property. We ate elsewhere but the menu looks excellent. In the morning the patron showed us some top quality super-fresh pollock and turbot just delivered. The breakfast is limited but great quality with fresh juice and home made brioche.

Beautiful small hotel

The house itself has everything to be outstanding with a pleasant and quiet garden.
The location is right in the center of Cancale behind the church; the parking is not private but easy to access.
However, despite all of these qualities, we won’t come back.
1.	One could expect of a bed and breakfast that has a restaurant to get a nice breakfast. That is not the case. The bread is an industrial one, when an outstanding bakery is meters away. Once in a while you get croissants or pains au chocolat, both not good. Again, they look like the industrial type or like they’re from a very bad bakery. No choice is offered for the fruit juice, orange it is, and industrial one (automatically served by the hostess whether you want it or not). The only good thing is the home-made brioche, which is also served only once in a while.
2.	The rooms are furnished with old type furniture, which gives them a nice authentic touch. But for a room that can accommodate 4 people, there was barely any storage space for our luggage. 
3.	One room has a traditional bedstead with head and foot boards, which doesn’t allow a tall person to sleep correctly. The mattress was not comfortable at all.
4.	The beds are covered with a quilt, same one for winter time and summer time, which is far too hot during summer time when the weather is good.
5.	Bathroom amenities are not automatically replaced during room cleaning, you must ask for them, same for replacing the towels.
6.	One light was missing in the bathroom, making it difficult to shave due to the lack of light.
7.	Generally, the hostess seems to take it lightly when you ask for something or complain about something that isn’t as it should be. She doesn’t seem to make any effort to make her guests feel at home or anticipate their needs, which shouldn’t be difficult in a bed and breakfast of only a handful of rooms.
With some room rates at the level of a 3 stars hotel in Cancale, it isn’t worth it.
