Location excellent, loved the forest setting and shady pitches. Compact site everything within easy reach. Huge pitch private facilities were excellent. Pool layout was excellent for our toddler with a nice big pool too.  Play area also fantastic. Things for improvement - maintenance around the pool area cracked tiles and sharp bits of the non slip surface which was coming off in some places, didn’t appear as though the pool area was hosed down at all in our 2 weeks. Had to ask twice for water slides to be turned on which was a bit annoying as this was at mid day.  The biggest issue for us was the restaurant and takeaway. Service very hit and miss but quality of food needed improvement. pizza’s ok, ordered frites for takeaway one night and they were so overdone they were inedible. This isn’t good enough for a 5 star site, the worst campsite restaurant in 20 years of camping in France! Also takeaway wasn’t very convenient having to book a slot for delivery (even for a portion of fries) which arrived 30 minutes late. The rest of the food we were cooking on the BBQ was almost ruined. All other campsite takeaways you can just go and order food, wait 10 mins for it to be cooked, this system just isn’t convenient.

Great family holiday

We have visited this campsite 5 times between 2015 to 2022.
The first four visits were amazing, everything we could have asked for, and more.
Pefect food, entertainment, atmosphere and friendliness. 
Our last visit in 2022 was a very big let down. Rude staff, food standards and service was very poor. The shop used to be very well stocked, uncluding souvenirs and nice wines etc, it is now just used as storage for what little food is on offer in the restaurant. The prices of what was available is made up bu staff as they go along and we were met with aggression when questioned the price of products. 
They used to do a lovely paella night, which was amazing, but now it is just very basic food (not freshly cooked like before) served by staff that make you feel like you are imposing on them. 
On the plus side, the entertainment was very good and the accommodation was a hood standard, although they have now taken to charge you for any cleaning they think they can get away with (we left out room spotless and as we found it)
We have very fond memories of it here but last year was a huge Disappointment. 


Gone down hill.....avoid!!

the location is great, the play areas for young childen wonderful , the reception were friendly but everything else disappointing. No heat, no tv, uncooked pastries, no working laundry services, closed sanitary block, and very tiny mobile homes. Clean but the 3 bedroom was uncomfortably tiny for 4 adults and 2 children. No room to change.

very deceiving

This summer holiday was our 3rd visit in 6 years and again we had a great stay. 
We stayed in a Soleo which is comfortable for a family of four, with also the benefit of a private terrace in the evening. Also when it is raining you can still eat outside thanks to closing panels. 

The site is neither too small nor too big. There is a kids club and many activities for the kids including bouncy castle, trampoline and other playing areas. Also a good size pool, slides and kids pool. If only people did not “reserve” the sun loungers for themselves then it would be perfect!

They also had a sauna on site which you need to book 15 min before using. It costs €8 for 45 min. We used it only once as it was only at 35 degrees when we arrived, and it took nearly 25 min to get it to a decent sauna temperature.... Shame really as it is one of the features that we love at this site. 

Animation is quite good, it is not only for French kids as the entertainment team does not only speak French but also english and Dutch. Music is usually in all languages to suit all nationalities.

The reception staff spoke reasonably good English.  Once we had an issue in our lodge, however the maintenance team came very quickly and it was sorted under an hour. 

Top mark for the staff at the shop and restaurant! All the members of staff are super friendly! It is a pleasure to see them and have a chat with them. The food at the restaurant is very tasty and reasonably priced. You can find the essentials at the shop at corner shop prices.

The campsite is easy to find, with easy route to many castles (Chambord, Chenonceaux, Amboise, Chaumont sur Loire...). 

There is an Intermarché nearby which is just perfect (in Chailles, ten min from site) however there is a small shop on site with the essentials that you might need. It sells fresh baguettes, breads and viennoiseries every day. 

We are at the restaurant once, it is tasty and reasonably priced. 

We would highly recommend this campsite and do hope to return again in the future. 



Another great stay! 

I visited in July18 and had a great time, my sons and I had 4 nights in a mobile home this July. It was very good again, the temperature was high 30's, but the pool was cool, a little busy at times but always enjoyable. The kids play area has everything and all for free. They close some stuff now which is also safer later in the evening. The welcome and reception is lovely and English is spoken if you need it, I did 😊
It's not a big site but popular, friendly and the restaurant, typically French with great food, the Tuesday paella is always a treat. Fully recommended for any length of break, camping or home (which was spotless and fresh). All chateau close by, great drives, walking or biking on the loire or Cher. 

Another Wonderful Stay

The campsite is nicely located close to the loire near Blois. It's very spacious and all campspots and chalet's have a lot of room around them. There's a great central playgound for the kids and the pool is nice too, although a little small for the number of guests. The restaurant is OK, nothing special. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Only the animation is not so good, it's mostly focused on the French kids (the lead of the entertainment team only speaking french doesn't help at that) and it doesn't compare to professional entertainment teams (there's not much organized).

Nice, middle-sized campsite with nice playground and (a little small) pool

The advert on internet promisses a spot over 100 square meters but ours was at the minimum legal requirement of 80 with no separation between spots. It was so bad because of the noise that we complained. The camping owner was such so rude he would not come on our spot to prove his advert was not a lie. we left earlier without refund.

Tiny spot

This is a great site,
It's a medium size, with a mixture of pitches and chalets. The amenities match the size and although it was very busy it still felt comfortable and relaxing. The pool complex works for all and there was plenty of loungers and shade. The slide was good fun for all ages. The reception spoke good English and helped book trips and advised on visits and deals they had operating. The restaurant was outstanding, quality of food, price and it was always busy, which did create some delay, buy hey your on holiday ! The entertainment was fun and well supported, the shop had all your needs. The location was quiet but access to the Loire and chateau was very good.
I would thoroughly recommend this site.

What a Gem

If possible I would have given this place no stars because the service given by the owners was embarrassing. There was mould under our mattresses, the wooden bed supports where snapped and hair everywhere. When leaving the campsite, after strenuously cleaning it, to the extent that it was significantly cleaner than it was when we had arrived. Then the owners had the audacity to attempt to charge us €60 and proceeded to shout profanity at us when we disagreed with them.

Overcharged

the First checklist was passed.we inspected only a coursory number of fixturs
  After departur we was billed 70euro.
By the reason is that the use of the cuttingboard is bad and one pot is burnt. To avoid  it you have to acsept carefully theck by the staff before you leave. We dont use the cuttingboard and pot is possible to repair by metal scourer easely .and we left tthere when office was not open.
