Went there for a meal with some friends on Saturday and we were all very impressed. Good home made fayre with great wines at a very reasonable price. To top it all off two lovely owners who make you feel welcome and an amazing view.

Lovely setting, lovely meal

You have to be sure of how to drive on tiny mountain roads and have à GPS to find it. High up at the mountain side, with à magnificent view and a good chef/owner. However you should know french to some externt as they seam a bit reluctant to use anything else but french. Rooms are small but the terasse big enough.

Magic view, know your french and be a calm driver

We were staying in the village and our friends recommended La Borie for a good meal out. We ate twice - one lunch, one dinner. Both excellent. Very French - leave loads of time to eat and enjoy the amazing view. 

Our friends told us we could swim in the hotel pool  if we wanted, even though we weren't staying but we didn't quite have the chutzpah!

Excellent meals

We're glad this hotel was excellent as it made the steep 5 mile cycle ride up to it all the more worthwhile. We were made to feel very welcome both by the owner and by the lovely lady who served our dinner. The hotel has stunning views over the valley and a large swimming pool on a hillside terrace.
All the rooms are very individual but perfectly adequate and comfortable. Ours had a view out over the valley from one side and the dining terrace the other way.
The food served here is absolutely top quality and very reasonably priced. Our only regret is that we could only stay here for one night as 2 would have allowed us to sample more of the menu choices.

Amazing views, great food, quirky rooms

The food was excellent and the view exceptional.    The owners' kindness unforgettable.    I was originally expected to stay with them for a week.    But since the hotel was inconvenient for me, I decided to stay somewhere else.    The only place available though was a campsite.   The owners' helped me not only helped me find a campsite,   but also went as far as lending me their tent, sleeping bag, air mattress(complete with pump) and towels that I could use for camping.     

I will not forget my experience for some time to come.
