It had nothing to do with the description. We had chosen this rental in Rez of the street because we were bringing our bikes. When we arrived on the spot, the apartment was in Rez of the street but next to the parking lot without access, just the window of the room. The entrance was on the street side with about 20 steps, quarter staircase turning, so to speak, we got a good galley to carry our bikes. The little bit of garden had turned into a terrace with trembling tiles. The clean apartment was set aside from the terrace that had probably never been swept away and the plastic table that was supposed to be about ten years old. No inventory at the entrance and we ask you if anything... in short, not to do it again for 1200 euros a week.

Nothing to do with the descriptive.

To run absolutely! inadmissible. To run absolutely, not for the place but for the Lagrange performance in time to recover the key pack as a tourist rental service provider. For we rented a week in Carcan in the hamlets of the ocean or we booked a T2 with dangerous garden. The perfect location is therefore the only strong point of the experience. As soon as we arrived we went to the Lagrange agency (located 10km from the lodging place) in order to recover the key pack. When we arrived at the Lagrange we realized that the car park has a key parking space in the area where we were not warned.

Running away

They're old and unmaintained, they're 12km away, and no one's on the scene for trouble, and the staff's not very warm, and Lagrange has bought out of these cabins, and he's doubled the rent, and it's a shame, not to be fooled.

The garden and the surroundings did not match the Internet pictures at all. Our apartment was on the edge of the settlement, on two sides were streets, behind a parking lot. The seating area was small, muddy, dark and dirty. There was no TV in the apartment. The staff at the reception was very unfriendly.

Defects

We rented an F3 apartment (6 people) for the month of July 2018 (680€), we stayed 3 days to find another destination not far from Carcans. The location is perfect 100m from the beach and the center of the village (business restaurant bakery, free parking), the nightmare it is inside the apartment, the furniture dates back to the 80s, we were supposed to recover a clean housing, apart from the dishes, the same was full of dust, under and on the furniture, the bedding was horrible (mattress 10cm thick full of yellow and red stains) and instead of changing the rest they returned.

The positive: the proximity of the beach and the centre with a few shops (especially restaurants by contrast). the negative: the rented property actually belongs to a private individual, the decoration is absolutely not identical to the photos (even from a distance), trinkets and frames of very bad taste and unwanted equipment (over torn furnaces, broken pots and pans). the housing was not clean, full of canvases of internal spiders as well as outdoor and sand on the floor and on some furniture. the garden even appeared abandoned.

Really disappointed

The beach is very close to the beach, which makes up for the lack of comfort, and the Spartan cuisine. The furniture is convenient, the balcony is quiet and very shady. The place is very cozy and invites out at night. Shopping is very limited.

Close to the beach is not a convincing comfort

I have stayed here twice now and could not recommend these self-catering apartments enough!

The apartments are located literally on the the beach and set in a beautiful location of beach and forest. Inside the 2-4 bed apartment that we stayed in are very clean when you get there and includes a fully equiped kitchen with 2-plate stove, fridge and even a washing machine. Inside the cupboards you will find pots, pans, cutlery, plates glasses etc. - so no need to bring all of that from home, which was very convenient. 

The area is very beautiful and have 4 main restaurants to choose from, I can definitely recommend the restaurant called "Le Wipe Out" who serves exceptional food for good value. There is also a nice convenient store and bakery located 2 min from the aparments - so you can stock up on your daily needs.

The beach across from the aparments is wonderful and we spent most of our time there to enjoy tanning on the beach and my boyfriend surfing the waves! This is defintely the perfect location for a relaxing beach holiday!

Fantastic beach location!

Am used to French self catering and have had very mixed experiences so didn't have unrealistic hopes for Les Hameaux. Wrong, wrong, wrong. It was excellent - well equipped, well located and clean, clean, clean. The appartment was exactly what it said it would be and we had a great 2 weeks holiday there. The manager, Fiona, was helpful and knowledgable and when I discovered I had left something behind after my stay she couldn't have been more helpful in locating it and arranging to get it returned to me. Really surprised by the other comments for the complex - we loved it and thought it was much better than most other French appartments we have stayed in.
