Myself and my son arrived in Carcassonne we were dropped by the shuttle bus from the airport just outside the Narbonne gate and it was literally a two minute walk to the apartment where  the lovely owner Lesa met us

She was so friendly and gave us recommendations for restaurants and things to see and do 
the apartment itself is absolutely fabulous pristine white walls with some lovely quirky decor it had everything you possibly need, from hairdryer to Hoover to iron.
 I had a double bed and the shower was really nice the bed was so comfy in the kitchen dining area there was a proper pull-out bed which my son slept in and he found it very comfy as well there was some tea coffee jam salt and pepper in the apartment and plenty of everything eg glasses cutlery towels et cetera 
when you open the shutters in the morning from the kitchen area you were looking onto the old well and from my bedroom window I could see the turrets of Carcassonne castle what a beautiful site to wake up to 
just be aware that there are literally no food shops inside the mediaeval city itself where  you can buy anything like baguettes R ham or cheese so we walked into the newer part of town The next day and went to a Carrefour and stocked up on some bits for the apartment and then we were set up for our three day visit
 I can absolutely 100% recommend these apartments and if I was going back again I would not stay anywhere else but here

Beautiful apartment in a stunning medieval city

We have just left the Pech Mary Apartments in the Cite De Carcassonne after a wonderful stay in the citadel.  When we contacted the apartment to establish the best way to get to the venue, i.e. taxi, we were informed that it would be difficult to get a taxi and were met at the train station in Carcassonne by the wonderful Isabelle who manages the property.  She picked us up and drove us to the citadel and then helped us with the luggage as she had to park the car outside the city walls (and repeated this when we left).  It wasn’t a long walk to the apartment, however, be aware of luggage over cobbled streets and if you are like us and at the end of a long stay in Europe with some large suitcases, the stairs to the three apartments are narrow, steep and there is no lift.  We had an apartment on the second floor overlooking the square and old well which is wonderful.  There are two windows overlooking the square and we slept with them open listening to the vibrancy of life in the surrounding restaurants.  Mind you it can be noisy early in the morning.  The apartment has a modern bathroom, air-conditioning and a well-stocked and functioning kitchenette with fridge, microwave, hotplates, drip coffee percolator, wine glasses etc and we were greeted with a chilled bottle of the local sparkling wine and fresh milk.  The apartment is a good size, quaint and quirky with wonderful views and an incredible location.  In the morning you can wander down to the owner’s shop/café where you are provided with two daily baked baguettes included in your stay. The café staff are amazingly friendly and do great coffee and cakes.  A wonderful spot which will bring us many happy memories for years to come.

Could have stayed on, very sad to leave.

The experience at both the start and end of our visit to this apartment really characterises our experience.  We arrived on a flight outside of core hours and Isabelle was so kind.  She met us off the bus outside of the city walls and walked us via the easiest route to the apartment.  She showed us around and then spent extra time with a map asking us what we wanted to do and showing us how to make the best of the trip.  Her recommendations were spot on.  She also asked us about departure and when we explained we were aiming for an 9am train she picked us up in her own car and took us to the station.  She is positive, supportive and a genuine host.  As for the apartment - great location - comfy bed and a cooker hob better than mine at home!  The medieval city was amazing - much as we suspected it would be but it was Isabelle's hosting that really made the trip both easy and special.  Thank you!

Exemplifies he extra mile

We stayed in the studio flat for four nights in October 2018. It is comfortable and although we were a little concerned about the bed settee it was very comfortable and more comfortable than some hotel beds we have slept in. It is small but fine for two people. The kitchenette is reasonably well equipped: we only used it for tea and coffee and to drink the lovely bottle of Blanquette de Limoux that was kindly provided. The location is wonderful within the city walls; near to everything but really quiet when you are inside. The owner/host was lovely, meeting us near the main gate and telling us all about the flat and giving recommendations on what to do and where to eat

Great for a short stay

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in mid September.  The owner graciously provided transport from and to the train station on either side of our stay.  Lovely, spacious, clean apartment.  Big windows to both the busy square in front, and a quiet garden in back, so you can open them all to create a nice breeze--we never turned the AC on.  Combination washer/dryer in the unit.  Enough kitchenware for some simple snacks and drinks at home.  Lovely bakery around the corner to buy breakfast items.  Reasonably priced--we were able to pay at the tea shop below the unit using our credit card.  Wifi worked well.  Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and service

We had 2 nights here and the apartment had everything we needed and more. It was clean and comfortable with plenty of room, air conditioning and wifi. It was located near the best restaurants and had a great view from our windows. Florence met us and transported us with luggage from the free car park to our door. Remember to travel light as there is no lift of course. Florence was friendly and extremely helpful, recommending where to eat and where to get the best photos from. An extra treat was the bottle of wine in the fridge. Would highly recommend this place.

Just perfect

This apartment is the perfect place to stay in Carcassonne. You could not have a better location. It is very clean. The woman who takes care of it is lovely. Great wifi. Includes laundry. Big living room. Fully equipped kitchen. This was our second time visiting Carcassonne and we were so happy to be able to stay here again. Even though you are right in the middle of everything when you close the windows it is complete silent and great for sleeping.
