We had a great time at the castle of payre a very pleasant visit followed by a tasting a very good meal before going to sleep in a very pleasant room all this in a wonderful setting in short do not hesitate to come visit this beautiful family who fights to make this heritage live knowing that viticulture lives in difficult times a big thank you from the Catalans

A wonderful experience

We enjoyed spending the night in the castle, very nice and we also visited the vineyard facilities and its facilities.The breakfast is normal but good.They did it in the garden of the Château.

 Impressive

We had a pleasant time inside the castle of the Payre. A friendly visit and tasting and dinner was excellent! We enjoyed the authenticity of this place with the owners who share as much information as possible with us. The room is spacious and the bedding is very good.

What a wonderful discovery.

We are on. Cycling tour of Bordeaux and stopped off for a wine tour and tasting. Eva took us on a very interesting tour, explaining the history, what grapes are currently growing and showed us through the winery. We finished this excellent tour with a sampling of the current wines. Such an informative tour and beautiful setting. Well worth visiting if you are in the area.

Well worth a visit

A must-do visit, the family is lovely and passionate, the wines are very good and the meals delicious, the chair visit is exciting, the rooms are lovely, the products are homemade

It's fabulous.

We strongly recommend the castle, which was a wonderful discovery for us. Visiting the estate and tasting at the chai with the owner who talks passionately about his winemaking profession. The simple but tasty meal prepared by Laure with premium wines from the estate. The evening with other charming guests and Valérie who takes care of the estate and who spoke to us at length e its very engaging activity. The night in a clear, spacious and quiet room, the castle being a few in the middle of the vineyards. And a simple but generous breakfast concluded our stay of one night. We obviously bought a bottle: the red La Perle is of excellent quality and will certainly be of good quality. We will definitely return to the castle.

What a beautiful step!

The service was exemplary, we were given an impromptu wine tour and given the history of the Chateau.  The owner saw us watching the sunset from the garden and brought us a bottle of wine and figs straight from her garden and it was excellent and very romantic.  It was quiet and very restful.

Amazing location on a working winery in the Bordeaux region

We had the Merlot Room in Rez de Jardin. Very happy and pleasant. Of course the SDB and the toilet are outside the room but it turns out that the small access corridor that leads to it is privatisable. So it turns into a nice little suite. All around the vineyard and nature. We arrived too late but we can dine there. The breakfast in a neighbouring room was simple but quality and very friendly. It can also be in the garden. The reception was remarkable of kindness; before we left we were able to take a quick tour of the wine production and we bought some. Those who offered it in the summer were delighted and I tasted the excellent Red 2018 which is already there.

A yearning for peace in Bordeaux

I'm a little disappointed with the benefits of a room for 100 euros. The rooms are outside the room, in the hallway exactly, privatized for our room but some people in the family use them. Another bemool, the microwave that's dirty two mornings in a row when we get to breakfast. Improvements to be made on some points.

I'm a little disappointed, but I'm looking forward to improvements.

Very nice house, a spacious room and a very good bed, only the WCS are in the hallway (private for the room) but it is used by a family member who is in the same hallway.
