Here's another good terroir table that's stopping its operations. renowned for its terroir cuisine made with good fresh produce, we learned that the Les Béquignolles restaurant after a sabbatical year was closing.

We booked at the hotel in Bequignoles and we were not disappointed. With easy access, this restaurant hotel could also be called a guest room because the small structure is in a quiet environment. A very warm welcome from the owner. A very clean, spacious and beautiful room. The meal was excellent, copious. We had dinner and breakfast under the funnel, a real start of the holiday. We recommend.

That's great.

The room is a bit lost in the middle of nowhere and without GPS difficult to find especially if you arrive in winter at nightfall. The rooms are in a different building from the restaurant which creates a feeling of a little anxious isolation especially if you are the only customer of the hotel. Our room with a sufficient area was correct and no more. No Wi-Fi in the room. The reception of the hostess is rushed (almost obsolete). Until the owner of the place is a little less commercial, rather than a little rough. The restaurant room, (3 or 4 tables at most), is pleasantly decorated and warm. The menu (without a small year's worth of food) is very varied in a very small size so that it is not too expensive to eat. The menu of the hotel is not very tasty, but it is not very convenient to eat, but it is certainly not worth a whole meal. This is a very nice place to eat, but it is not worth a whole meal with at least three or two cups of wine.

Very very welcome, hosts of a great kindness and very professional Beautiful rooms, very well furnished, all comfort and.............Excellent dinner and breakfast BRAVO and THANK YOU for this good time spent in your company; when we leave you, we feel like we are leaving friends.

We stayed in August for 3 nights as part of a house hunting weekend. We had a fabulous family room and despite arriving very late, we could not have felt more welcome. Odile went the extra mile to make us all welcome and helped us with understanding the area. The food was outstanding. Stay here and eat here.. you will not be disappointed. We are going back next weekend and feel as though we are heading off to stay with friends!

A wonderful stay

The family room is spacious and beautifully decorated, the hostess is charming and very attentive, the appetizer taken under the tunnel by choosing her menu with the help of our hostess, a nice, refined table and delicious cuisine, raviles of fresh liver sauce, molten calf jar, apple pie of great lightness, all with a great wine, a short, a beautiful surprise and a very good stage.

Intimacy and warmth

We stayed three nights whilst visiting friends who live in the area. The temperature was over 30 degrees in the day time. The large family room, which was part of a vaulted barn, had air-conditioning which worked exceptionally well. A lovely room in a lovely setting. It was do quiet you could almost hear the silence. The owner Odile and her husband looked after us very well. Eating dinner and breakfast al fresco was a delight. The hotel is a short walk from the village of Carlux. Would definitely recommend this hotel as either a tranquil place to unwind or as a base to try out all the many activities the area has to offer.

A small part of paradise

We stayed here for one night, on our way back up to Dieppe. Despite only booking our room two hours earlier the absolutely delightful hosts kept the restaurant open for us, and upgraded our room to a bigger space as our original room was out of service. Our room was very big, comfortable and clean, as was the luxurious bathroom, and the views were gorgeous.

We were the only ones in the restaurant that night but our hostess made us feel extra special and welcome. The food was perfect, duck salad and slow cooked lamb, and a very good home made fois grois.

We only wished we had stayed longer.

A Real Treat

What a wonderful find on booking.com,would truly recommend after a week of camping.Dinner was superb,choice of dining outside or inside of which are both lovely.spacious beautiful tranquil room,lovely views,with great shower.
Breakfast was just as good.And the hospitality had a personal touch which we found very welcoming and relaxing.
Well worth visiting even if it is just for dinner,which we found many people did.

A sanctuary

We stayed for one night on our way from England to Andorra and fancied a change from large corporate faceless Hotels. I'm glad we did, as we were greeted by Odile the owner and immediately shown to our spacious warm room overlooking the fields and valley.I'm told sometimes you can see deer grazing. Drinks brought to our room and a hot shower before Dinner. This was prepared by Robert the chef and was lovely.
Our dog had the run of the gardens and was also made more than welcome, without us having to pay extra for the privilage.
Freshly baked rolls and pastries for breakfast, served at a time of our choosing. I suspect its amazing in the summer. We will be back, if we can get in !!
