Fantastic stay, beautiful location.  The reception was so welcoming, and food and accommodation excellent.  We would highly recommend La Galerie if you are staying in the area to visit this beautiful part of France.

Wonderful stay, beautiful surroundings

The gallery is a great place to recharge. The guests, Sandra and Ron, are very attentive and listen to you. The rooms are beautifully sized, well-arranged and tastefully decorated. The bathroom is perfect. The breakfast is very pleasant with the quality and freshness of the buffet. It's also a nice time to share with the guests. Outside, there's happiness. A table and chairs that allow you to relax around a glass, the swimming pool that stretches your arms, a large park where you can make some noise. I really look forward to going back there. A lot of land, which won me over for the beauty of its lands and the kindness of its inhabitants.

A quiet moment in a green haven

The breakfast, the bedroom, the swimming pool and the garden, and the atmosphere were all perfect, and with many interesting cities and beautiful villages to visit during our vacation week.

It's perfect.

We came to the gallery for the third time this summer with the same pleasure. Excellent location near Catus and its green lake to discover the treasures of Lot. After a day of visits, the rest at the pool is still very pleasant.

A Place of Peace

We made a B&B, but what a delicious breakfast with fresh fruits, fruit juices, wineries... and homemade bread is a treat, clean rooms where nothing is missing up to the tray with tea, coffee and small cakes. We are in a large, quiet property that allows you to recharge, with its beautiful park and beautiful swimming pool, we are immersed in complete terrain with guaranteed landscaping, plus the managers are lovely guests, with little care for you.

What can we do to make your stay enjoyable?

We have stayed at La Galerie a number of times now when travelling to and from the South of France and have always enjoyed it. Sandra and Rod are helpful and friendly, and will book you a table at one of the restaurants nearby for you, which Is useful. Breakfasts are very good.  Rooms are a good size, attractive, comfortable and very clean. Recommended wholeheartedly!

Excellent

La Galerie is set in a lovely peaceful location but with easy access to all the places of interest in the Lot and Dordogne. Returning after a hot day sightseeing nothing beats a dip in the pool and some time just relaxing in the beautiful surroundings.  Rod and Sandra are very attentive hosts, always there with advice on local restaurants or places to visit but have that happy knack of not being intrusive. Our room was large, clean and airy, and although we were in a B&B felt very private. Breakfast was simple but excellent with fresh bread, fruit and preserves.  I also became rather expert on the boiled eggs managing to produce the perfect egg towards the end of our stay.  Should have stayed another week, which would have been very easy! Altogether a wonderful establishment in a perfect location.

Charming B&B, wonderful hosts

If you like the Parisian peripheral atmosphere in the countryside, go there. Otherwise... Our experience: only customers on a Saturday, lying quietly by the pool and the boss passing his lawnmower truck next to us! But the man is not crazy, he has a noise-resistant headset on his ears. To the question asked to his charming companion can he stop? the answer is no, it's too hot in the afternoon! And to close it, he gave it all back on Sunday morning!

The place not to be

We were visiting relatives who are refurbishing property nearby and La Galerie was the prefect retreat from the inevitable chaos. The welcome could not have been warmer, the room was large and very comfortable and the breakfast were delicious. Strongly recommended.
A word of caution - if you arrive on a Sunday or Monday most of the local shops and restaurants will be closed, as they are in much of France, but the team at La Galerie know the area very well and will recommend those that do open on these days.

Very Relaxing

La Galerie is a beautiful B&B: it's well located in a calm area where you can fully enjoy nature of the Lot-region, but all top-locations of the Lot are near by. The room was superb, as was the swinging pool and the breakfast. Sandra and Rod do all they can to make the best of your holiday.
