The welcome was excellent, The booking site I used was only in French which caused me to 'arrange'4 rooms - I  only needed 1. The manager arranged 4 excellent meals for myself and my friends even though it was late in the evening.
All the staff were helpful and friendly, I am happy to recommend Hotel L'Aquitaine to anyone.
I did not use any of the facilities of the hotel as I was at the nearby airfield, but I am sure they would be fine.

Great hotel, and location, for me.

We ended up here unexpected after a car breakdown. Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and modern, with new showers, swimming pool had a nice temperature and was really clean and there were nice seats. Breakfast was ok, with croissants and 'pain de chocolat', bread, spreads, cheese and ham, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, but seemed to run out of cheese and ham the second morning. Drinks were very nice: good fruit juice, coffee machine and special teas. 
We found some extra entertainment across the street at the aerodrome (parachutes). Most happy we were about the service, the patience when we didn't know if we would have to stay another night, but still could wait at the swimming pool. And then helping us out when suddenly the car got repaired and we had to rush to the garage before closing time. Thanks a lot for helping us out so nicely!

Nice, quiet and friendly

The hotel is not in the village but by the N20, by the motorway exit, so we needed a couple of phone calls to find it. A bit faded but friendly staff. Basic evening meal and breakfast. Noisy traffic overnight.

OK for an overnight stay

Found this hotel on Booking.com and stayed here on 18 Aug 2012 for one night as a stopover in a triple room with my husband and daughter. Our room was clean, and over looked the swimming pool and had it's own balcony a big Plus in these sizzling temperatures. 
The staff were very polite and friendly and efficient. 
The hotel pool was clean and by the side there were not only the usual recliners bit also some unusual moulded rocking recliners which were very comfortable and some funky lilos too for guests to use.hotel also has a sauna, but it was so hot on the day of our stay, so didn't opt to use it.
Dinner was very reasonable prize fixee 1O euros each for salads,cold meats, prawns and a dessert too.

Very good value , a pleasant hotel set in its own grounds with a swimming pool and sauna too all for the equivalent of £60 per n

We were happy to find this hotel just off the autoroute but surprised at how run down it was.  We had thought that it would be difficult to get somewhere to stay on Saturday 25 July but there was no problem at this hotel.  Driving in we could see why.  The entrance was potholed and untidy and looked very neglected.  The young man at reception was pleasant and helpful.  We didn't eat in the hotel as we felt we could do better making the 10 minute journey into Cahors.  The bedroom was disappointing in that the lights at the bedside were loose, there was no shower bracket in the bathroom and again just a general air of neglect.  

The price however did not reflect this neglect and I think it was expensive for what we got.  Breakfast was adequate.
