The service is poor and the employer is very unfriendly, the room is the laundry room and when we told the landlord about the condition of the premises we had the right to an unpleasant reflection, I think that to avoid any disappointment we should avoid this address.

Dirty and low-quality

We have stayed for two nights in this lovely farm in Berville during our holidays in Normandy.
It’s located in a beautiful countryside at about 30 km from Rouen and 20 from the seaside.
We had an entire house for ourselves with a lot of space. There were two bedrooms, a bathroom and living room with kitchen. Moreover there was also a large garden.
It was pretty clean even though we had to bring our own bed sheets and there weren’t many facilities in the kitchen.
In our opinion very good value for money.

A farm in Normandy 

It's too expensive to offer benefits. It's a cottage layout far from the charm of Norman farms. The owner's reception is limited. The cleanliness of the premises is limited, the household package is still 50 euros. The bedding is unacceptable, it's better in a formula 1.

Quality ratio price far from satisfactory

After a family meeting we rented for 3 couples one of their boy we didn't even really welcome them, they gave us the keys and took care of you in bulk. Cleanliness? I don't even talk about it.. work on the sheets.. the sponge in the sink just infects.. 3/4 plate worked otherwise everything was disconnected. Fortunately we had said we were coming to 3 adult couples, because there are only two bedrooms one with a double bed the other two bedrooms with a silky bed and to finish a click with a thick mattress like my hand.. finally all that to say is that it's not worth the price to come in or even to go in.

I'm not advising anyone.

It's been installed for a few months and I don 't want to leave at all. It's a nice place in the middle of the animals. It's a nice and quiet place. It's a nice place to sleep. It's equipped and comfortable.

It's a good place to live.

The kitchen is dirty, the other passengers' dishes are left in the sink, the rooms have broken-down sofas, the wallpaper is going off, and a friendly dog comes in and attends your meal.

What to Avoid

Located in rural location - easily found.
Rustic accommodation - the room we had was located in what was probably old farmhouse - sloping floors - not much headroom in bed - it is what it is - and old quaint building - liked it - usual continental breakfast included.
Friendly owners.
Good value.

Old rural farmhouse

My partner & 2 young children stayed here for one night only as we were travelling from Le Havre to Reims and very much enjoyed it. The room was lovely, the setting is beautiful & the breakfast was tasty. I would happily return for a longer stay. 


A lovely, peaceful place to stay

This place in Normandy is very remote and a super place to go and relax.  We stayed "Table D'hote" rater than in one of the Gites but surprisingly for shared accomodation privacy was never a problem. 

The welcome was warm and the food simple but very well done.  Your own transport is essential  (we had a hire car) as this means all of Normandy is within an hour.  If you cycle take a bike, the bakery, cheeseshop and butchers in the town is well worth a visit but is 3 miles away which is the only problem, if you forget to buy anything it is a bit of a trek.

We took our dog and he was welcomed with open arms.  The farms for miles around are crops so he could pretty  much run free.  Amazingly for a working farm, the place was spotless.  One bloke while we were there asked for a rate for a year so he could build a house in the area.

The lady who runs the place, even gave us a great deal on an extra night.

If you are looking for loads of bars and restraunts, this is not for you.  If you want to just relax and destress.  Great value.
