I stayed at Mas del Lum in April. I haven’t written a review until now because there aren’t enough superlatives. It was by far the best week of an excellent vacation. Yolande ‘s hospitality is beyond any expectation. I dream of going back.

Perfect

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in September and we turned out to be our favorite accommodation during our entire time in France.  The property is beautiful with wonderful spaces inside in which to chill out.  We walked the property and picked figs, apples and plums that were ripe and ready to eat.  Our room was super quiet and clean and we could see the stars out our loft window.  The breakfast was wonderful.  Our hostess Yolante was an so helpful.  One night she provided us with a wonderful home cooked meal.  She also provided many options on activities in the area and took special care to make sure that we knew how to get there.  We just loved everything about this place.

Peaceful Shangri-la in the French countryside

I was on a business trip to Figeac, France and stayed here for 3 nights.  Yolanda and her team (including Lilly, one of her cats) made the stay both homelike and special. The first night I requested a dinner while on my drive from Toulouse.  It was fresh and delicious, made with herbs and vegetables grown in the gardens  on the premises.  It was served on the terrace at twilight, with the view of the valley in the distance.

Yolanda is a wonderful hostess, focused on the experience of her guests. She and her team made the stay not only warm, but a unique experience.

You may have experienced great hotels in major cities as I have, but Mas Del Lum, Yolanda and her team are focused on you. Breakfast is prepared the breakfast exactly the way you like it, mine is eggs easy over, with crispy bacon. I also enjoyed the best croissants I’ve had anywhere.

Wonderful Stay !

This is a heavenly location, near Figeac and other destinations in the Lot River valley.  The proprietor is lovely; she can be chatty or give you your space, depending on what you'd like, and she's very good at assessing your needs very quickly.  The rooms are in centuries-old stone buildings -- cool inside despite no air conditioning (we were there in early July, when temperatures were 90+ degrees F/93+ C). No screens, but no mosquitoes, either. There are a number of rooms scattered in small buildings around the property.  The pool is fed by natural water fed by a natural filtering pond augmented by 4 or 5 other water filters.  The gardens are stunning -- not fussy, but beautiful with something always in bloom.  Beds are comfortable, and it's very quiet.  Breakfast is delicious: homemade cheese, plus breads, cereals, organic milk, etc -- wonderful ingredients tailored to fit your dietary needs.  Fresh, seasonal fruit.  Convenient parking.  Wonderful place; another couple staying there at the same time as us said that they'd paid four times as much for similar accommodations elsewhere in France and Switzerland.  Wifi not available in all guest rooms, but good signal in shared areas.

Lovely, peaceful B and B

We were a group of 10 persons, for a breath work retreat. We had a lovely stay, the owner is so kind and an excellent cook. 

The place is amazing, looked after with a lot of care. The decoration is beautiful.
The swimming pool is very well located and with fresh water! 

You can have classical music during your dinner which brings you in a very nice atmosphere.

I am already thinking to going back with my family this time. 

So peaceful 

Lovely place, well maintained in the southern French countryside. Full of history and character, 10 centuries old, yet completely updated, with wifi.

I stayed in the room closest to the main area, which was a bakery in it’s farmhouse days, complete with brick oven.  

Gardens are nice and quiet. If you live in a large, congested city this place is an excellent getaway.

The proprietor makes this place 5*, with very personal service.

Cleanliness 5*, quiet comfort and character 5*, nearby restaurants 3-4+* (go into Figeac), service 5*.
