We stayed at this lovely château in July. This is a fantastic place to stay if you like clean, simple and to experience tradicional/ rural France. The owner was farming on our arrival. First thing you see are the cows. We were 3 adults and 2 children. Bedrooms are upstairs, so 2 flights of stairs to go up with your bags. I had my
Elderly mother with me (cool she doesnt read this). Super clean, beds very comfortable and silent atmosphere. We had to dinne out, but there are plenty of options around and the owner helps you. Breakfast is super if you like cheese and products from own farm. I loved the experience, the flavours, smells and environment were amazing. Recommend no doubt.

Excellent

Dog haven immersed in the French countryside. The Chateau is a large farmhouse on a working farm. The house is airy and super clean and the welcome was incredible - particularly for the dogs. We arrived late and early morning light showed extent of the farm and the possible tracks for two excited hounds. Breakfast was delicious particularly the home made jams followed by a country walk. This review comes with 5 paws from the pups.

Castle in a very quiet place, in the middle of nature... very kind to the owners and their dog. Really nice room and a very large bathroom. Good breakfast. If you can stop for dinner, they brought us a really good cutter of cheese and slices.

Staying in a real hunting lodge

This castle, rather a cult, has its charms. Located in a lonely country, it is dominated by spacious rooms that leave the past praise. The estate is still an active agricultural operation. You sleep peacefully and comfortably and the few animals you see warm your heart. The hosts are very pleasant. A very recommended accommodation if you want to find yourself in peace. The town of Metz is 20 km away.

Well-managed Gutshof

I decided at the last minute to make a quick reservation by phone and go to this beautiful 18th-century castle. Having already stayed in a similar establishment in Alsace, I can say that it is extremely well maintained. The owners are very friendly, available and concerned about the comfort of their customers. Our room was clean, the nickel bathroom! A big positive point when we know that in other places of the same type, spider canvases struggle with dust under and on the furniture! The breakfast was really complete (fruit, nuts, bread, biscuits, coffee, fruit juice, tea, cocoa... etc... and very good, everything in one frame and backyard). The garden has a cool place to rest under the trees and a cool place to recommend a variety of milk spaces.

Quiet and clean!

We had booked a room for Valentine's Day night directly from the establishment. Arrivals were scheduled between 5pm and 8pm, we showed up in the castle courtyard at about 6.10pm. We stayed outside the closed door, without a word to warn of any possible problem. Many calls to the 2 phone numbers were left unanswered. We left a message and found a plan B at the restaurant hotel where we had booked for dinner. Finally, it remains a place that gains notoriety... Christophe.

That's great.

A warm home, a large presence of the owner to anticipate all our wishes, great flexibility to accommodate 18 people in a very beautiful home, (Louis XV hunting relay) and decorated with taste and research. The rooms are impeccable and spacious. Very quiet house. The 10 children enjoyed the space around the castle to play and relax, the presence of animals, a library and a harmonium... Breakfast is royal with homemade brioches and cake, fresh cane, fresh and dried fruits, yogurt, homemade coffee juices, tea,... and salt fruits if you wish.

Excellent experience for a family weekend.

Very nice place this CHATEAU that is more like a very Large farmhouse with cows in the field in view of the very well kept and spacious rooms. Unformal and very Pleasant owner, surely a place were you can stay a few Nights, visiting Metz and Nancy.
Breakfast was super with homemade jams and fresh Bread.

We spent one night at Buchy Castle last week, very welcome, very nice room, very spacious restaurant, everything very clean, absolutely quiet, generous and delicious breakfast.
