Bastide of the 13th century

Everything is perfect from arrival to departure. A welcome is more than pleasant, a very large and magnificent room with impeccable cleanliness. Breakfast is delicious and full, homemade jams are delicious. We will return with great pleasure.

Our one-night stay at the villa Monségur was perfectly relaxed. Very pleasant accommodation. Spacious and tastefully decorated room, 160 beds very comfortable, very clean and perfectly sanitary. Excellent evening meal, cozy and well cooked, in a fully glazed dining room offering a view of the snowy Pyrenees. Lunch to our taste and very complete. We had a conversation with Michel and his mother. An address to remember and recommend.

We stayed in this guesthouse after the visit of the lady of Brassempouy. The owner, Michel, created a beautiful ambience. Especially the dinner he cooked was excellent. The rooms are also very beautifully designed, and on a hot day the small pool offers a cooling. Thank you Michel, we felt very comfortable here.

Everything is perfect.

We were very well received by Michel and his mother. First of all, the house is easy to access and sublime. The room was beautiful, very large and decorated with a lot of taste. There are all the necessary amenities (TV, gel-shower shampooing, towels...) The bedding is really comfortable and of good quality. The cleanliness of the place: perfect! What about dinner... We have never eaten so well! From the entrance to the dessert, through the wine, everything was exquisite! Michel and his mother really have golden hands. In addition to cooking quality products, professionalism is perfectly served both in quantity and in heat. Breakfast, delicious taste with confection and small home cakes. We will also welcome and welcome Michael and his customers with great pleasure!

PERFECTION in the campaign

Everything is perfect 'welcome, the room, the gastronomic meal without forgetting the picnic of the return a treat for both children and adults. The only regret is to leave after a few days!!! We hope to return to it next year during our future stay in the land.

After 20 km of walking, we enjoyed the very clean rooms, the large, quiet garden with swimming pool, the excellent dinner and the rich breakfast. Thank you very much for your warm hospitality.

That's perfect.

The accommodation is spectacular and very clean, and both Michel and his mother are very caring and attentive. I highlighted above all the breadth of the rooms (all have their own little living room) and their good taste in decoration. The bathrooms are spectacular with showers that I would like myself to make for my house with a first-class tapestry. The pool is very well cared for, as is the whole house, and has a large cesped with hammocks and armchairs available to the guests. What most surprised us were THE CENAS. Michel is a professional chef and I can assure you that the dinners, which are all made in family with all the guests of the house, have been provided with the exquisites that are perfectly situated in the house. Excellent in all respects.

Villa Monsegur is by far the best Chambre and table d’hôte we had in France. The house is really nice decorated and spotlessy clean. There is a nice garden with enough places and chairs to sit.  The swimmingpool is well kept. We really felt at home. The owner Michel and his mother Janin are very nice people. A special attraction of this chambre d’hôte is to join the table d’hôte. Michel used to have a restaurant and he uses this experience to prepare (toghether with his mother) excellent  meals.  Meals like you can eat in a Michelin star restaurant. As my wife is a vegatarian, they prepared every day a delicious vegetarian meal only for her. We certainly will come back. Michel and Janin: thank you for everything.
