We stayed here for two nights as a stop over. We were the only guests and it was slightly strange. It is a family business and they also produce their own champagne. The owner was lovely but i needed to go back to my basic french as his english was non-existent. The gite were our room was had a billiard table which was quite fun. The breakfast was in the other building and i have to say they put on a really nice spread including freshly cooked stuff so i was really happy. They are also very dog friendly! One of the drawbacks is that I could not find an English channel on TV and also it is in the middle of nowhere - so you will have to drive to get dinner etc. However, it is in the middle of the Champagne so easy to get around for tastings. I would happily stay there again.

Lovely room but you need basic French

I don't really like writing bad reviews about places, but we didn't have a great experience here. We booked the B&B online, and the contract said that check-in was at 16:00. The night before we visited, I wrote an email (in French) to the B&B asking about check-in and hoping that we could check in slightly earlier. Instead, I was told firmly that we were not welcome before 17:00. I explained that we had made plans around the 16:00 check-in (tour at Moet & Chandon at 16:30, and we were planning on dropping off our children and luggage before the tour). After the prompt reply to the first email (and every other email I had exchanged with the B&B), I never received another reply. Instead, we brought our kids to the winery and paid for tickets for them to join the tour (which they didn't enjoy). When we checked into the B&B, we received a cold welcome, and no mention at all of the emails I sent. The location itself isn't really great either at the intersection of two busy roads. We will definitely not be back.

Worst B&B experience in France

When we arrived they seemed surprised to see us and had to search for the booking which was found. Communication was difficult since no English was spoken and our French was limited.
Our room was well furnished and the bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast the next day was fresh and plentiful but breakfast time was 8.30am with no flexibility.
The location was isolated with no where else within walking distance, evening meals were not provided so the only option is to drive 10/15 mins into Epernay to eat. After a long journey it would have been nice to have a coffee or some refreshment before having to go out again. Other reviews refer to the swimming pool but we were not told about it.

Overnight stay

Stayed there for two nights on a trip around champagne. This is a small gite/chambres d'hotes place run by a family business that also has a small champagne vineyard. Accommodation is comfortable and rooms are large. Breakfast is included and this is great as the location is not within walking distance from any facilities. 

All local attractions (champagne houses and Epernay) are within 15 min drive.
