This was our third visit to Maison Des Lavandes and it was as good as ever.  We particularly organised our journey back from Spain to enable us to renew our acquaintance with this delightful couple. We just love the atmosphere here and hope to stay longer next time!

Wonderfully Relaxing Visit

Stayed several times and had friends stay with Steve and Jackie too. A lovely couple who go out of their way to provide top class service. Like a home from home experience with great food and hospitality. Thank you very much

fabulous hosts

We stayed for 4 nights here and Jackie and Steve couldn't have been better hosts.  Our room was very comfortable with a little sitting area outside.  The en-suite was spotless with a super, large walk in shower.  The bed was very comfy and had a super soft blanket and sheet rather than a duvet - so snuggly!
Breakfast was taken with our hosts and the other guests, a couple from Cumbria.  Lots of different breads and preserves (some of which Jackie made) juice, tea or coffee - Steve even shared his Marmite with me and made John a Cappucino!  Cooked items could also be ordered.
We had the option of dining here which we took for our first 2 nights.  20 euros pp for a 3 course meal with good wine, good company in lovely surroundings.  Jackies lemon meringue pie is something else!
The modern bugalow is in a huge garden with a pond and wonderful country views.  There are sunbathing areas and a small pool as well.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would thoroughly recommend a stay at Maison des Lavandes.

Exceptional Chambre d'Hote

very friendly reception - location quiet and very relaxing - accommodation very up to date and spotless - hosts very helpful and food and drink excellent. They are English but speak excellent French and know the area well.

wonderful visit

Arrived after a long journey in pouring rain and we were welcomed with a friendly smile and a perfectly chilled beer. Our room was spotless, the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom well equipped and again spotlessly clean and new.We enjoyed a great evening with our hosts, fabulous food, copious amounts of wine and a feeling we were staying with friends rather than in a bed and breakfast.I would certainly recommend this place to anyone wanting a superb overnight stop or longer if you are exploring the area.
