The host was very gracious in warmly welcoming my family for a stay in her charming villa. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and inviting. We had a continental breakfast with home-made cherry cake, a plethora of home-made jams and many other good things.

Beautiful relaxing stay in a quiet, welcoming setting

Situated near to St. Etienne and with great views, Christine and Pascale are most welcoming and our hostess a great cook.
Pascale is a working cattle farmer so be prepared for occasional country odours - from the fields not our host!
We will certainly stay again if ever we're in the region.

Wonderful views, marvellous hospitality

This B&B is very well situated with lovely views down the valley. The house itself is beautifully clean and well decorated. What's more, the hosts are very friendly and welcoming. You should sleep well here! 

My only reservations concern the table d'hote. This was very generous, and I can't imagine anyone leaving this table wishing to eat any more. However, I was surprised that the meal (20 euros) consisted almost entirely of cold food - salads, cold meat, cheese, and ice cream. I was certainly expecting one proper cooked course.

A very good option for those visiting the Loire Gorges

We stayed here for one night on a road trip to Corsica. The accomodation is clean, simple and comfortable, the view lovely but the highlight is the welcome. Pascale and Christine welcome you as if you were one of their family. The food is great, mostly home produced with an extraordinary choice  of home made preserves with breakfast (14 on the day we were there). Great value and somewhere we will remember for a long time.

Lovely stay on the farm

Chambre D'Hotes in very quiet hamlet on hill top a few kilometers outside Chambles. Breathtaking 360 degree view of valley. We had the family room on the top floor with double and bunk beds + seperate bathroom. Comfortable but probably not to everyone's taste, at least not ours. Great breakfast with all home made jams and cakes. They offer Table D'Hote service (dine with host), we didn't try it because of vast lunch in Chambles, but food looked good. No restaurant nearby so would give a try next time.
