Just back from a fantastic holiday in Chamonix. All members of our family (6 adults and 4 kids) stayed at Claire´s chalet, so we had all the rooms in the Chalet. Most of the reviews in this site really reflect the quality of the owners of the chalet, so I can only reinforce what already has been written: -Nothing is too much trouble for Claire, she is easily the most helpful person I´ve come across while on holidays skiing. -Food is amazing, great quality (and quantity!), we very much looked forward to dinner every day. -Great location, 15 minute walk to Chamonix centre (Claire even offered to pick us up on the day we ate out so the kids would not be cold, thankfully they were happy to walk) -Comfortable and spotless accommodation. I would perhaps mention the superb water pressure of the shower. -Pascal (Claire´s husband) is a mountain guide and took 2 of us off-piste skiing one day, he did manage to find pockets of fresh powder despite the poor snow cover during our stay. What else to add? My niece (5 y old) was afraid of dogs (I was a bit anxious about that) until she met “Izzy the husky”, now she keeps pestering my brother for a dog back at home. Izzy is very patient with kids and I did not feel worried about any accidents despite all kids chasing after her constantly. The description of the chalet Claire advertises carefully reflects what we got, so the only surprises we got were good ones! Despite poor snow we had a great holiday. And just so it is clear... Claire is a SUPER HOST and FOOD IS AMAZING. Have a great time, I know you will...
