We had rented 2 hostels, one was clean and the other was dirty and infested with flies, the staff was welcoming and responsive and had the hostel cleaned up again(a snake bite and we immediately felt the difference, so it was really dirty), when we arrived there was hair in the shower, no microwave, the hostels were very old, no sound insulation, not all bungalows have terraces equipped with light, no light at the BBQ level, we used to rent at this stone and vacation home and we wanted to change a little but I think after experience I would stay in the bathroom and so on.

Disappointed

It's a nice little house, nice and perfect for the kids, so it's starting to get old, but the quiet is not worth it, especially after months of confinement, a nice pool, a very nice team, nice walks around.

Perfect for a quiet family vacation

The VVF is a very pleasant place. Spaciousness, tranquility and a very warm welcome. The premises are certainly not very youthful but everything is very clean and welcoming. There are plenty of possible activities (babyfoot, ping-pong, trampoline,...) and a swimming pool.

Very nice and pleasant

We are loyal to the VVF of Chatel Censoir and although the housing would need a serious rebuild, the place remains very quiet and pleasant. This VVF is really well located compared to all the places we can visit and which are offered to us by the manager. The manager is a very welcoming person and does everything possible for the well-being of holidaymakers. We regret that this village disappears and we are convinced that the municipality will suffer the negative consequences. It's nice.

This vvf is located in a peaceful place with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. The reception is authentic and the staff is very open, accessible and serviceable. The site is very well maintained. As for the premises, the architecture is getting old, but the interiors are clean and functional. The only thing to improve: the bedding is not very good quality.

Resting and Calm

What to say: out of time. Very old, soundproofing with nonexistent mitochondrial bed (we heard the neighbor blinking). No pressure in the shower. No smoke detector. Cleanliness.

Very old

We spent two nights (with my two young children) in a 24-square-meter cottage for 98 euros (with sheets rented). The cottage is clearly very old-fashioned but well equipped (flat screen, coffee shop, but no microwave, oven, two cooking plates. It's a short one. But the reception is warm and the place is especially pleasant for children (inflatable castles, playground, stone barbecue in the centre of the village). Very good advice for the reception for visits to the area.

In the Vvf we seek simplicity and proximity to nature. We have been served. Vvf near very friendly hiking trails. The local manager is nice and available to share places to discover. The housing is clean and deserves a refreshment but nothing terrible, we were even pleasantly surprised. A beautiful place to discover without hesitation.

Simple and effective

We really enjoyed are visit.The village is very well equipped with BBQ, ping pong , football table games,library rest room and swimming pool.Our chalet was spotlessly clean and the manager was most helpful coming to show us around despite us arriving late (21.00 hrs ).
we liked the flexibility and stayed Monday to Monday and were able to pay by Master card..When we booked we were glad that the phone speaker spoke good English.
Reasonably priced and we shall return next year
