We stayed here on the way back from our Provence holiday. It was a pleasure to receive the warm welcome from the owners (and their dog) on our arrival. We were given a map of the local town (only ten minutes walk from hotel) by the owners and a list of recommended restaurants. The triple room we stayed in was clean, comfortable and was very quiet. It was good to be able to park our car in a secure plot away from the road. Breakfast was excellent, traditional French buffet style, with delicious homemade yogurt, fromage blanc and jams. Our ten year old daughter was made to feel very welcome.

Highly recommended and we will definitely stay again if passing.

Warm, Welcoming and Comfortable Hotel

The wife was a bit sniffy when she saw the ** proudly displayed above the entrance of this long-established hotel, but she agreed as we left that it was a charming an establishment as you can hope to find. Occupying an odd-but-interesting c19 house, it offers fair degrees of comfort (and lots of cleanliness) for the money. But it's the charm - and the individual  attention - of the hôtes-patrons that makes a visit here an experience. And my daughter really liked Thor (the two-year-old boxer mix) too.

As good as you can expect a two-star hotel to be

This lovely old and slightly rustic hotel just off the main road so quiet if a garden room is taken and with secure parking is run by a charming and friendly couple ( with their large hunting dog who is also friendly) is ideal for visiting the area or staying over night. Very much a two star hotel but with excellent breakfast including home made yoghurt, compote, jam and preserves. Excellent value for money, and very friendly.

Very pleasant overnight stay

This hotel is kind of small and has some character.  The most important and enjoyable are the owners, service minded, friendly and always caring about the guests.  The room was quite small but enough for week-end night stays, it was very clean and was probably recently renovated.  The garden is pretty.  There is quite big parking place compare to the size of the building.  Despite the proximity to the main road, it is very silent.  The main house is a very nice old stone house.  The breakfast buffet is well supplied with natural products, traditional french croissants and breads, cheeses, yogurts and on demand cooked eggs, plenty of variety jams.
It was a nice week-end stay, in the simple comfort of this hotel, welcomed by very caring hosts. 

Simple, clean and a bit on the pricey side

I stayed for one night in one of the garden rooms. The hotel is very quiet and one is not disturbed by the other guests (indeed, I thought there were no other guests until breakfast time) but the small room I had was in dire need of refurbishment, especially in the bathroom: some traces of mould on the grouting, tiles that looked like they were coming unstuck and a washbasin that was so small that it proved impossible to wash my face without wetting my pyjamas and feet. The shower was hot and water plentiful. I was slightly put off by the number of ant-repellents placed on the ageing lino floors but didn't see any creepy-crawlies during my stay so I presume they served a purpose.

Breakfast was a pleasant surprise as the tea came in a pot and the boiling water had been added to the teabag, rather than teabag ceremoniously to one side of a pot with tepid water. Giant-sized croissants, brioche, breads, a variety of jams and cereals and eggs on order for those who wished. One can take breakfast in the garden but unfortunately all the tables were taken by other guests so I had to eat indoors.

Breakfast is charged separately and I did find the hotel slightly expensive for what it was.
